Consulting youth - best approaches and why?
March 26, 2007 - 01:27 PM

Lately, I'm being asked what is the best way to consult youth? I have seen and been a part of many different ways in which this has happened: one-day forum at school or a community centre; filling out surveys; attending two or three day conferences; sitting on a board or somesort of committee for a short-period of time.
But these are only a few different approaches organizations and individuals interested in a "youth perspective and/or their involvement.

I'm curious what others think. What consultations processes have you gone through or know about that you consider being the best approach and why?
