PEACE IN AFRICA STILL A CHALLENGE
March 26, 2007 - 02:57 AM

hullo, guys, today it has been realised that many countries have turned their attention towards conflict ressolution and specifically countries like USA and BRITAIN have managed to send their diplomats to ensure that conflicts particularly in the middleeast end in a diplomatic way. my question hear would be. other than providing humanitarian aid to african countries. what have the two countires done to end conflicts in DARFOR REGION AND SOMALIA AS WELL AS NOTHERN UGANDA?

Dear Friend,

I think that we should rather ask ourselves what African nations have done to help each other.

We have looked too much on the developed world to help solve our problems, we need to look inwards and start to develop solutions to all the problems that we face.

Nigeria has been involved in peace keeping efforts for a long time. As i write, Nigerian soilders are in Sierria Leone, Liberia, Sudan and some other countries helping to ensure that Africa is safe and at peace.

We need to encourage more African countries to do same, so that together we can grow an Africa that we will be proud of.

Peace!
