I agree with vas21.
And my opinion is that inner peace and stability is very important in everybody's life. If you accept yourself and your life as it is, there is bigger chance that you will be able to change your circumstances, because you can focus on changing everything in a positive way. If you manage to look into yourself, and find strength it helps a lot. Try to trust yourself all the time however hard it seems, and dont wait for other people's approval. Be true to yourself. I believe that real happiness comes from within.
About perfection: who knows what is perfect? It is very hard to define, because it is quite relative.

I believe that happiness is the pursuit of perfection... fortunately I don't believe that perfection can ever be achieved therefore I will always be happy

When we get everything we want,we will want nothing.so to such achievements,GOD himself put a limit to that;i mean for us getting all we want.
No one will regard his creator,if they get it all.Neither will their be respect, nor peace, nor stability.Because, what Mr.A has,Mrs.B has it aswell.so why will i stoop low to work for you or to listen to your speech talk more of knowing who you are....that will be the epidemic and more harzzard ones will occur when human beings get all they want. But that will never happen.thats why my best quote ever is this: Vanity+Vanity=Vanity...[by King Solomon] nothing is perfect, and no idea is original.Whatever that is existing had existed, and what ever we are doing,is been done somewhere else or rather in our sub-conscious minds.Since the people of old didnt get it all, then why should we?and since we cant get it all, then why will they that will come after us achieve just that?

Spiritual Perfection is to become completely obedient to God, one of Gods commandments is that we have Joy (Gal. 5:22 KJV)...I believe that there isn't anything that we can't do through Christ, including being happy.

being happy is doing that thing that you wud love to do... eventhough perfection is not beyond reach, when you are contented what you are doing then perfection would not even matter... its what within you that could classify something as perfect eventhough they are not...

I think if you have perfection, you don't have happiness...
...and if you have happiness you defintily don't have perfection.
Happiness includes all the ups and downs of life, of all circumstances. If we could wipe those off the face of the earth, take away all obstacles in the name of perfection than we wouldn't be happy because we would have nothing to work towards.
The point of happiness is to persue perfection without ever truely obtaining it.
We all think we know of what perfection should be, but perfection to one will never be in complete agreement to everyone else.
So if we all in the name of our own happiness pursue our own ideals of perfection we will be happy in our efforts.
But if the world was "prefect" to one person...than no one would be happy, including that person since they would be alone in their perfection.
