What has racism done to this world?????

Rasicm has changed the world because of its stupidity. I think racism just exists because people don't like someone's race, culture,religion. I know that when we look at someone they might not look like us but they're just like us inside. If it were up to me everone would be treated equally.
I would like to know what you guys think racism has done to this world?

I think that slavery is a horrible thing. I feel that world leaders should be taking action to eliminate it! Imagine how much better the world would be then!

Jac14 I belive your right. People should be taking actions to improve racism. I think working toghther can change the world for the better of the future generations yet to come.

Racism has done to our world by wars, fight, argue etc. It should be terminated by us. People must be equally treated. Racism is also like classism. Classism means different levels or class. Every person in the world have different levels. For example; Rich people thinks they are better than poor people. This example proves that classism is like partners with racism. White people thinks they are better than black people but black people thinks that they are better than white people. This arguement starts fights or even wars. So Racism must be terminated by us. If racism is eliminated then there would be peace on earth. Also White people thinks that they are equall with the black people. There would be no wars, fight and arguements.

True. You people are right. There should be something done to stop racism. I think that there are two main reasons for rasism. First of all people judge other people by their colour. Secondly different cultures and countries have different ways and opinions about the world. They all want their ways and opinions to be thought of by everyone. And who ever doesn't beleive in what they belive in they criticize.

I agree with you 100%. Racism is definately one thing we can live without. I absolutely an against racism. But I think people have slaves not only because they don't like them. But I think it was because they were too lazy to pay American workers, that they bought slaves.

Racism really winds me up it is so wrong ignorance is wrong and racism is a serious issue people that are rascist need to be sorted out they are very small minded!i know many people that are black and i would let no one be racist to them its wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Racism.
A whisper word. Racism has belittled our precious world and culture, and made our population sad. Racism is arrogance. Its a lack of understanding of one race or culture or gender even. Its fear of something different other than yourself. Its a feeling of scorn passed down from one person, parent, or generation that causes us to hate something from a lack of trying to love. Its stubbern, hardheadedness that corrupts the world and stains our hearts and planets. It sends us back to the days where this arrogance was unquestioned and even encouraged. It creates a sense of primitive ideals and such. In short, its bad, and its like a disease that threatens our dear home. And the only way to overcome it is to realize that differences arent bad, they're beautiful. Unfortunetly it wont go away completely, but it can be lessend by teaching our children, and the children of our world that arent ours not to have racist thoughts, and to love differences instead of hate or fear them.

the racism in this world has completely ruined most of the possiblity of having a world that will work together. if everybody was racist, then there would be a major war and many people may die.
this is just a small possiblitly though. many people think everybody is equal. that is perfect. if everybody thought that way then the world could work together to save the enviroment, and stop/prevent ecological hazards and things like that. if everybody would stop caring about wether other people beleive in the same thing they do, and wether everybody should look the same as them, we could get os much accomplished. i bet you that at least 1 in every 40 people are thinking a racist comment or actually being racist when you read this. theres really nothing that we can do. we can promote stopping racism, we can stand up to people who are racist, but we cannot stop total racism.
please, if anybody has any idea's of how to stop racism or to help the promotion of anti-racism, tell me. i want to head about it.
