Explotaion of Young Females on this site by Adult male TIG members

I think it is very sad that some of the older men on this site keep contacting me. They seem to not want anything from me except to try to seduce me (one even sent me a picture of his partially naked “daughter”) or to join my project so they can have “visitation” with the children my project serves. I have contacted TIG about this so I am wondering when will something be done about this problem. Young girls like myself on this site are not safe at all! I had the same problem again today. I thought this site was for youth activist not dirty old men who want sex with young teens and even younger children. What is with this site, has it been set up so that older men who want sex with young girls can try to do that? This does not happen to me on other sites for youth activists. That is what it is starting to feel like to me because nothing has been done to try to resolve this dangerous issue. I am getting ready to quit this site and file some complaint some where about this. If any of you females under the age of 18 on this site have bothered by some of these men, many who initially pose to be interested in helping you with your project, please message me back.

Though I am male I too find it disgusting what those men are doing, for though are perverted, twisted, and it demoralises the whole system we have here of dicussing world issues and actually doing something about them. I will pray that justice is sought for you and your kind, for you have a right to be free of molester in this site of all sites which is for peace and righteousness!
Any male who thinks that what they are doing is right, then let him talk to me, so I may show them how drastically wrong their deeds are, and that if they do not repent and seek forgiveness from them who they are molestering they will face God's wrath for the continuing evil they are doing. If you are not man enough to ask for forgiveness and then to stop talking to them then stop going on this site at all, then the people you are hurting will respect you for changing. If we cannot give you room to change we will never get peace here on earth at all.
FINAL MESSAGE: STOP THE DIRTY TALK TO THESE YOUNG WOMEN NOW, AND THIS COMES FROM ME AND EVERYONE ELSE HERE. STOP IT NOW.

wow! that comes a quite a shock, but I guess there is no escaping sexual harrasment - it's everywhere.
I suggest that you cut and paste these messages into a forum - and include the names of those who wrote to you. Public embarrasment can be quite functional sometimes - anywho - keep the faith little sister, we're not all animals and perverts

Sexual pollution is all around. No, this does not give anyone one else a right to use it.
Most of you are not part of the groups of the most unfortunate. e.i. the poorest of the poorest. Within these groups these pollutions arrive quite if not way too early.
As i have claimed my intention to run as mayor of G.T.A. (Greater Toronto Area) i do plan to keep all those discussions of mine on. To show the world how ugly us (some) men and women animals can be. And some are. Regardless of which slice of society one lives or circulates in, sexual exploitation is a global problem.
What of the legal red light districts, mounds of net porn, T.A.T.U.s panty peek and so called escort servives. How right are they?
I do want to rebuild the world, starting by neighbourhoods and cities, so that it would be safe and rewarding for everyone. Equal opportunity. Not to let anyone slip through the cracks.
Reveal ugly in order to stamp it out.
That person that sent you that picture should be reported to the authorities.
It is ever my wish to seperate that which that i've written into categories. Good visions, ideas and intentions from the bad and ugly not to be seen or read by everyone.
If one is to reveal perversions, then all should be revealed.

p.s. be it known i have only contacted 3 or 4 people from this site outside what is shown on these discussions. No, they were not of the so called seductive genre. Children can and are cruel; i wrote on "DefinitionCircle" for about 2 years and no one says diddley. Then out of the blue, complaints. I have no idea if there are 2 or 20,000 people reading what i write. I am also involved with another dozen or so discussions sites open to all ages but mostly adults because they are political. "All is fair in love and war", when the U.S. started dropping bombs on Iraq maybe then i had to change tactics too! urls are always optional readings. When one reads Macbeth does not one read about murder and killings as well?

Just so everyone is aware -- we have been communicating with Alexandra and some of the other members involved.
TIG aims to be a community connecting members to help them achieve their dreams/ideas/projects.
We have built several features (display names, ability to turn off TIG Messenger, adding features to prevent members from being added to projects without their permission) to help members manage their involvement on the TIG site. We are working on several new features to allow youth members who are not interested in adult involvement/mentorship/support of their project to restrict involvement/participation to members of a certain age.
We have always had an 'ignore' feature in TIG Messenger to make it easy for members to quickly restrict anyone who sends them anything they dislike or that bothers them to become invisible to that user.
In general, I think it is important not to overreact to an adult simply wanting to be involved in a project. As I mention we have had a discussion with the individual involved and I believe that this was a misunderstanding that will not happen again.
As I have mentioned to Alexandra, if anyone has any concerns about members that contact them, the TIG terms of service clearly state that members who use TIG agree not to:
* upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, pornographic, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
* "stalk" or otherwise harass another; or

Please contact us at info@takingitglobal.org if you feel that another TIG member has violated these or other terms of service with details on what you feel the problem is and we will investigate and quickly take appropriate action.
