[Poll] American Idol - Mass media tipping point

For many years now I have been concerned that mass media is not giving enough attention to the challenges most human beings want to collaborate in solving. We are leaving some of these perilously late for irreversibility -and I do not think climate is the only truth challenge that is compounding risk of extinction
24 years ago when I co-authored the first future history on the internet, it all seemed so much simpler on how to connect the best of both worlds of mass and personal media
I think that American Idol's Give Back program announcement involving its 32 million audience of Americans next month is an unprecedented opportunity. Never before will 32 million americans at the same time be shown stories of what it is like to be a child in Africa
Is there anyone else here who believes this is a possib le tipping point and that we need to find every way 1 2 to collaborate around it?
