Ah well I would love to come back as a ghost and travel around the world without a Visa and other formalities...
I would love to fly without the having to listen to the annoying buzz of the airplane engines....
i would refrain from giving a serious comment at the moment b/c of lack of time.... but i would be definitely following this thread closely

although looks strange, but i believe the world we live in, is an examination Hall. and the result will be announced some where else.
if we just look to the current situation, some people are killed without a just cause and reason, and the culprits live, is it just?
there must be some place (as we have teh courts of law) where the dead guy can go and complain, so that the killer get his punishment.
so, a life ofter death is waiting!

I don't think there is life after death. I know a lot of peopel would then ask, well why bother living if we're just going to die, but I think that if we realise that this is all the time we've got then we should be taking every minute, really live. I don't mean that you can't 'really live' if you do believe in life after death, but knowing that you have a back-up plan in case you screw it up this time or have heaps of regrets just seems a little too convenient, it kind of saps some of the brightness out of life, well in my opinion anyway.

I'd love there to be a life after death, but there's no reason for there to be.
Just because we want a place where ultimate justice is handed out and the good are rewarded doesn't mean there has to such a place though.
It doesn't show that there's likely to be such a thing or even if it's possible to have one.
The safest bet I feel is just to live like there isn't an afterlife with empathy to everyone, and be pleasantly suprised if there is (of course according to however many religions I'll only experience the hotter, sharper parts of it )

i wouldnt want another place for the justice to be handed out....no way...
It should be handed right here right now....and I believe that is what happens...

well, i totally agree with Hatam. This life is a kinda prerequisite for the life after death. we have to perform each and every action of ours according to the peacefull way.
And in this case we can live a good life in the hereafter !

I do really believe in life after death because my believe as a christian teaches me that, soon after death is judgement. Although after death we will not be in our mortal bodies, our soul would continue to live to be judged by God. Thus in as much as possible we should be cautious in our day to day activities.[quote]

the same is the obligation of islam, all muslims must consider this world as a journey to the ultimate end, which would be either paradise, or the hell depending upon the activiteis of each individual in this world. so judgment is must.

dreams shows that there is another life somewhere. Death is not the end of one's life but an end to a phase, maybe call it phase 1

I have some pretty weird dreams, seriously the last one had pirates.
I'm gonna enjoy phase 2
Or, perhaps, maybe dreams are just that way of sorting out your clutter at the end of the day, maybe they're just the result of your brains downtime, I'm not an expert.
