there is no proof that iraq has weapons. there is this little thing called international law- you can't attack a country because you think they might have weapons. using that logic, i can attack the U.S.- I KNOW they have weapons of mass destruction. they also have a dictator (Bush was never elected by the people). iraq has the world's 2nd largest oil reserves. many of the most important people in the white house signed a letter to Clinton asking him to attack Iraq back in 1997. this has been a long time coming. the u.s. has an awful history in the democracy business. they've broughtg little democracy, but put in many friendly puppets and dictators. they've supported bad regimes in chile, nicaragua, guatemala, iran, and, oh, ya, Saddam himself in Iraq (during the war with Iran, only a decade ago). Iraqis are bad for having american POWs? excuse me while I laugh out loud. first of all, because the U.S. refused to recognize the International Criminal Court, they can't start threatening to use it. second, what about Guatamato Bay (I'm sure that's spelled wrong). It's an American camp in Cuba, where they've been sending people since 9-11. There are people who have been there for 1-2 years in inhumane conditions, with no charges or due process or rights or reasons. so why do you support the war? educate yourself.

In a way i think that Bush is doing the right thing because i do not think that Saddam should be in power of Iraq because of the horrible things he does to the Iraqi citizens and POW's from the coalition forces. I do sympathize for all of those Iraqi's that are inocent but i do not think the American's could just sit there when they think that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction.

You really knows a lot about US... Lot of ur points are really credible... I support most of ur points u post in this corner, but I think also Saddam is a dictatorship killer that use his people for defending their personal interests... I'm not agree with war and the US position for attacking a poor peuple that have a lot of disadvantages with their army force... I know that powerfull countries only see what they will manage the oil market and their interests around the world... Is hard to say but is only the surviving of a system that benefits a low percentage of people in developed countries using "Third World" for mantaining this order, lot of hipocresy govern the "First World" and is only the same story as in "Colonialism Era" with a new name and for reaching new markets for selling their past technologies in poor countries... "Globalization"? no man is only "Masters & Servants" system... While we change this lines, lot of childs murder with hungry in "South Earth"... Yeah that's "Real World" not the "MTV" programm... About war, Who are the victims? The Irakians civils (Childs, teens, elders, womens, professionals, students, etc) and also the Soldiers ( From US, UK, Australia, who went to war with a weekends Army trained and that in a real war they found the real war... All of us saw the glance of these kids at Irak and they show only Horror!!!)... That's our world and is time that new generations of "Developed Countries" open their eyes to reality and thinking that world isn't only into their boundaries... Think and work for changing world in peace without any differences with other people and races... Teach to others your visions of a new real "Developed World" and give to "Earth" your "Love"!!!
That's ur role!!! Is ur time!!! winkOriginally posted by punkfag

I don't like neither of them because they are just cruel. Do you even know why the war started in the first place?

Your Welcome...
April 7, 2003 - 07:13 AM

I think Bush is only an instrument of worlwide economic power... You know interests around the world and specially from the hearth of Economical World building strategies... For me Bush is only a puppet of what that interests wants for running world... For example, in my country all President candidates needs to have the approval of White House and Worldwide Economical Organizations as World Bank, IMF, etc. for not considering, those candidates as a danger of Democracy in our region (In other words a danger of their interests)... I only know that If we would like to change world in Peace It will be an enormous work for anybody, but joining us in a clearly vision and step by step is possible to make this world better for "Alls"... I mean "One World - Not Three" with same opportunities for all of us... But first of all "First World" needs to open their eyes and tries to see worlds future far away from their forest and wont believe in a society of "Spirits in a Material World"... World needs your change in an honest way!!! That's all and that's "Love" winkOriginally posted by punkfag

Okay back up, United States has gone to war because of the weapon they have . We dont even have prove and their going to war. How long has Iraq had the bombs?
Maybe at least over 5 years and they did nothing about it untill now. Saddem didn't take them and bomb America. Their just sitting around. And Bush goes and kills innocent civilians and then in his speech says ," I dont want to kill the civilians." Second of all... Iraq couldn't have all these weapons if it wasn't for America. The America gave it to them and now they want it back. It like saying you got a piece of candy and now you want it back. HELLO IS ANY ONE PAYING ATTENTION, a thirteen yrs old is not going to give that candy back so what makes Bush thing Saddem is going to give it back without a fight.
These two men are both idiot - in my opinion.
and I dont feel like supporting any one of them.
