Some Great Lake Facts
April 4, 2003 - 11:50 AM

I think the Great Lakes are important because they are a big part of our water supply.People are not working hard enough to help clean the ocean.I think more people should start using their time wisely and not waste water. We could encourage our friends and family members to help the environment. The water supply is not endless, so we have to work harder on not wasting and not poluting water. Most of the water is already used for hydroelectric power and people decide to leave the water on so in the future maybe people have to buy all of the water every sinle drop. Even if you want to play with it we have to pay a lot more. Maybe in the future the beach will be dry and there will be no water for anyone and maybe there will be no future!!! All this can happen because of wasting water since water is such a important part of our life.

I totally agree with U.We should all pitch in and help save our envirment. There is way to mush littering going on.We should recycle paper. Most companies that make cookies and chocolate always wrap each chocolate and cookie indiviually. That is not nessary. It just makes more garbage.Chemicals, gas, and oil are polluting the water and air. This is destroying our Ozone layer.Garbage is being dumped in our lakes and we are doing nothing to stop it.
