problems in the Great lakes

The sources of fresh water are lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, and wetlands. They are renewable because when it rains, hails, and snows it will melts the water and it will flows back into the fresh water sources. Canadians use the water very wastefully. They waste water from such things as leaky taps, using too much water to wash dishes or take a shower, and washing their car too much. Canada's rivers and lakes hold enough water to flood all of Canada with 2 metres of water. But centuries after thier won't be a lot of fresh water then it will cause a conflict over countries.Therer are over 300 toxic chemicals in the Great Lakes.
Other countries have a limit for waste of water. For instance people in Sri Lanka don't have clean water. They use wells so that they have better water than they will get from the sea. They get the water from the rain. No,the land surronding the lakes/river are not well managed.
