I'd like to discuss the issue of Israel and Palestine, which seems to be a central issue in the Arab world. It's frequently not discussed in the US, which appears counter-productive to achieving piece in the mid-east.
I would argue that the US has fueled the fire of resentment in the arab world by its unwavering support of Israel...A country in violation of numerous UN security councel resolutions. Theres a difference between defense and oppression. Mainstream US see actions in Israel as defensive, while Arab world sees them as oppressive.
What do you think?
