problesm to get connected

hi there,
i have for days ben trying to get the beta chat room connections but have been failing, if there is any one who can help, pliz get intouch with me and i need the way forward, i have neve used it before and i need to find out whats probably the wrong thing that i am doing in trying to get connected

The chat room has also been revamped so that may have been the problem. Also, make sure Java is enabled. If you are still having problems, please post the exact problem you have and include any error messages (if any)
