A Triangle and 9 Steps could be a solution … !!
March 2, 2007 - 10:08 PM

Good Managerial systems, knowledge and Information Communication Technologies – ICT - from my point of view are the golden angles of the magical triangle towards developmental progress in less developing and developing countries nowadays.

Why Good Managerial Systems, Knowledge and ICT?

Despite the long list of endeavors of the international organizations, the biggest and most modernized and industrialized countries and what have been declared in many international gatherings to help the poor countries to accelerate the developmental progress but the change is still limited.

The biggest and most enormous dilemma which is facing development, economic growth and achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) can be released by the hands of the governments, private sector and civil society organizations in the less developing and developing countries. And our magical triangle will lead towards objective and realistic developmental endeavors,

I think the solution is not going to happen by only raising the aids the solutions have to be launched mainly from the less developing and the developing countries themselves. The nations of the less developing and developing countries will not achieve their historical goals before all the leaders, the ruling regimes and its civil society organizations have to be concerned about the following:

1- The loyal and honest believe in the “ownership concept” towards their countries.
2- Transparency at all levels.
3- Freedom of expression.
4- Opening the space to the younger generations and supporting them.
5- Work tirelessly towards the excellence of implementing qualified education systems.
6- The Brain-Drain Dilemma and the immigration of the skilled and the highly qualified cadres in different fields.
7- Gender equality.
8- Working tirelessly to prevent leadership and civil conflicts.
9- Democratic systems.

My question now is "What are the opportunities for the African and Middle Eastern Countries in achieving the MDGs …!!" despite the efforts of NEPAD and G8 and what Mr. Blair - Prime Minister of UK - mentioned by Africa is still far beyond.

ICT and KM technologies can be great help in facilitating the process of MDG realization, but the main problem with many developing countries is that they do NOT have the infrastructure for these technologies.confused
