Same-sex prohibition bill.

The same sex prohibition bill in the national assemble of the federal republic of Nigeria had it hearing on the 14th february,2007. I would say from my own point of view that the public hearing of this bill is very political as the hearing was not made public for people that would want to come to the hearing to present their abstract. The public hearing had large population of clergies who expressed their baises relating to the issue of homosexuality in Nigeria. The points of those in support of the bill were contrary to the international human right law. My concern is: if the bill is passed, would the fight against HIV/AIDS be sucessful?

the main concern is really that we don't get to the stage the West have where they've run out of decent laws to make and then start playing nanny with the the citizens.
It's good it's discussed but I think what needs to be done is set an age of consent.
Before we even discuss these things, sex crimes need to be thrown in the open like rape, child abuse and paedophilia

 The issue of homosexual should not be a thing that should even be discourse in Nigeria we have more pressing issues to be discourse.However, those that pass sure Act should be expose, this is Africa where sure thing like homosexual is seen as a taboo and is a sin to the body and also to God. Moreso, i see same sex marriege as devilish ack and anybody cut in the act should be sentence life in prisonment.
