Who is a Child

The definition of who a child is, is somehow confusing to some people. it is oftentimes based on age bracket and different societal perpective.
To you, who do you say a "child" is?.

In kenya,a child is a person who is below the age of 12years.,while a minor is a person who is below the age of 18 years old,ie not yet an adult although in most cases both terms have been used to refer to both instances especially the term minor when it comes to difilement case.A 16year old and a two year old are both minors under the law but at the same time a 16year old cannot be refeered to as a child, what is your view on this or your understanding of all this?

I agree i dont think there is so much cofussion in who is a child. there is no way to divide equaly if is not by age range i would say the same under 12 is a child and under 18 is a minor
