On 20/2/2007 one female minister by name Zil-i-Huma was murdered by one person at punjab (Pakistan). She was minster of welfare at punjab provence at pakistan.
A person who killed the lady was related with one puerly extermist religious group, he directly fired on her head and she was brought at hospital but she was no more.
A person who killed the woman is serial killer and he confess that i committed many murders of woman. He also of this view that victom was so fasionalbe and modern and my mind doesnot accept her in that form.
He also announced that if he return back from jail he will do this again and again.
Sources said that he was already in jail for 3 years in murder case but having no evidence he was released.
Now questions are arising here,
this type of crime need any evidence?
This public place murded and confession of accuesed is not enough for his punishment?
In this situation where pakistan is going?

I'm so sorry. This woman sounds like a good person. It always seems like good people get killed whenever there is violence. I hope your country can gain justice for her.

Where in the Punjab was this? Does not sound quite like downtown Lahore to me.

I don't think that assassinations like these are solely limited to places where violence is more frequent.
Just recall the assassination of Anna-Lindh in Stockholm, 2003:
Ylva Anna Maria Lindh (19 June 1957 – 11 September 2003) was a Swedish Social Democratic politician who served as Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1998 until her assassination in 2003. She previously served as Minister for the Environment from 1994 to 1998.
Anna Lindh died on the early morning of September 11, 2003, following a knife attack in Stockholm on the afternoon of September 10. Just after 4 p.m. she was attacked while shopping in the ladies' department at the Nordiska Kompaniet department store. She was stabbed in the chest, stomach and arms. Following the assault she was rushed to the Karolinska Hospital where she underwent surgery for over nine hours, receiving blood transfusions continually during the operation. Reportedly she suffered copious internal bleeding, her liver was seriously damaged, and her medical situation remained grave, even though at first she appeared to have improved after the surgery. One hour after concluding the initial nine-hour surgery, complications forced resumption of surgery. At 5:29 am local time all means to save her life had been exhausted and Anna Lindh was pronounced dead.
