YOU May you always have:
One Rose for Unconditional Love
One Rose for Financial Wealth
One for Everlasting Happiness
One for Success
One for Knowledge
One for Beauty, inner and outer
One for Family
One for Honesty
And the last one for a long and healthy life
For every friend you send these roses to, your wish will come true

Not to be a downer, but how do flowers, candy, and cards celebrate love? Valentines day is a disgusting corprate holiday. If you really love people, or the world, or what have you, show it everyday with your genuine actions. And don't give this "holiday" the recognition it doesn't deserve.

I absolutely agree with Jack. The comercial world in which it happened to us to live in, shaped this form of celebrating our feasts.
It's just another opportunity for businessmen to exploit us. They're abusing our willingness to pay money for showing our feelings to our beloved. No matter how holy or honourable the feast is or was.
It's the same with any feast, it only depends on the range. Remember pre-Christmas shopping mania. Nobody can persuade me that this madness is the original purpose of establihing this (at least initially) sacred feast. The same applies to St. Valentine's Day. It's not the armagedon, but it's certainly nastiness.
PS If our loved one acknowledges this feast we'd better do so too or explain our point of view. Just as a prevention from possible mistaken conclusion that you don't love him/her.

Yes..I have to agree with you..Give love anytime..not on certain holidays..After all..it's the greatest gift you can give!
