Well I haven't experienced gender discrimination yet, but I have had many with racial. I both saddens and angers me to see and hear people abusing (verbally and physically) someone just because of their colour or their country or their beliefs. It's one thing to crack jokes about something stupid someone does, but to crack jokes about them because of what they believe in or because they are male or female, that's crossing the line...
What's even worse is that it happens in Toronto. A city that boasts that it's multicultural and diverse! Just because we are a diverse city, DOES NOT MEAN that everyone embraces all the different nationalities. Either all the cultures should be celebrated, or Toronto should lose the pickup line!
That's just my 2 cents.

Well it doesn't affect me personally fortunately, and most people in the school aren't rascists.. for my grade anyways I guess I could say, I don't really know anybody that are rascists in my grade anyways.

What's my opinion on Racial discrimination and gender discrimination? My opinion on Racial discrimination is that it should never happen because it leads to serious consequences such as war. It happens because of hatred. People who hates someone's beliefs or skin colour or etc. They start the fight. People who teases someone's colour or etc. will lead to big problems such as the person that is teased by someone will do something crazy like revenge or even suicide. Also racial discrimination also leads to slavery. Long time ago, people in France sent many slaves from Africa but today in Sierra Leone there is a war about diamonds. Also long ago, black people were slaves in United States but with the help of the North Star and Canada, some people survived and got their freedom in Canada. My opinion on Gender Discrimination is that men, women and homosexuals such as gays and lesbians fight because of the gender. This is all about Gender discrimination. Men who are mad about Gays or Hate Gays teases gays or punch them or kick them. Men who hated them will do anything to kick Gays out of the school or even the country. Also Girls who hate lesbians will do anything to get the lesbians out. If Men, women, gay or lesbians are nice to each other then that woulb be great.
If Racial discrimination and Gender discrimination continues to grow, who knows what will happen to all of the countries?

I think its WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! In my classroom where not all the same, and neither do all of us speak the same language or dress the same or even look alike. We all still manage to get alonge. Black, white, blue, or brown, girl, or boy were all the same. When you make jokes of some-one's background how would you like it if they did the same thing to you?When you tease girls or boys about how they dress look inside of them and you'll see they're just like you. You might make jokes about some-one if they do something stupid, but if they didn't do anything and you start making jokes about their culture, beliefs, back-ground then your making a joke about yourself. Remember that everyone in this world is connected some-how. REMEMBER WERE ALL THE SAME!!!

Racial and gender discrimination

Both racial and gender discrimination are just WRONG, WRONG, and... WRONG, no matter how you look at them. That's probably why it called discrimination anyways. 
Racial discrimination or racism as I like to call it, is always around us. Many people have faced racism before, even if they are the same colour, culture, or religion as the person who discriminated them. It is posible for someone to discriminate a person who is just like them. I just don't understand why they would do it. Why should someone discriminate someone, if they can or had been treated the same way.
Everyone is unique and different, that's what makes this world interesting. If everyone are all the exactly the same, the world will be very boring. There are people who are almost the same, but are not from the same country, religion, and not even the same colour. Scientists have proven that it is possible for a person to be more alike to a person from a different race than a person with the same race. So, why are you different if you just have a different race? We are all equal under the eyes of the law, but not under the eyes of our peers, why is that? 
Gender discrimination or sexism is also all around us, it happens more often than racism. Sometimes it may even happen without you even knowing it. Some examples would be when you play a basketball game, maybe sometimes the boys won't pass to the girls because girls aren't good. But, some girls are actually better than the boys. Gender won't change how good someone is at something. Sometimes boys might be better at family studies than girls, girls might be better at shop than boys. So, it doesn't be that if you're a boy, you can't join family studies, or if you're a girl, you can't join shop.
In conclusion, I will say that, 
EVERYONE IS EQUAL, NO MATTER WHAT, NOT RACE, NOT GENDER, NOTHING SHOULD STOP SOMEONE FROM DOING SOMETHING THEY WANT!

we, the race of human beings - born from mother and father - are just a part of mother nature. how could one dare to discriminate one´s brother or sister?
get rid of it! may it be "whites only", "men only" or even upcoming "women only" ... forget about this!
don´t you see we all need each other? yes, there are differences among people but this should lead to diversity instead of discrimination. discrimination in my opinion is just an expression of intolerance.
if you don´t like one person, well you may have your reasons - but don´t pack them all together ... every person has the right to be judged by his/her own behaviour.
