This is a very serious challenge the world has to face collectively....

According to the UNICEF:

Globally, 2.3 million children are living with HIV. In 2005, around 380,000 children died of AIDS and 540,000 children got newly infected. Over 15 million children have lost one or both parents to AIDS.

What do you think of these numbers ?

Devastating, depressing serious and dangerous numbers , one of the biggest problems these kids are going to go through is the stigma not only that they are carrying HIV but they have to deal with people as well sad

I do really think according to these dangerous numbers and which is actually in a gradual increase, that there must be a global intense on the awareness of means of getting infected because there are ignorance concerning the means of infection in some societies, for adults and children.
and there must be also a strict supervision on the sanitary habbits and hospitals to make sure that the disease is limited in the infected ones only, not increasing the number of the infected persons

naglaa everything you said is true ,there is alot of ignorance concerning HIV/AIDS especially in the means of infection and the way to treat people with HIV positive. For example alot of people think that they shouldn't shake hands with people who carry the disease or share clothes ,food....etc look how simple these things are but how much they matter.

I agree. I am certain there are young people who can make a difference. You can start your own organization or project that addresses this very serious issue and receive money to help get your project started. www.youthventure.org

WHAT? 2.3 million children born with HIV? I'm pretty certain there are more than 2.3 million condoms in the world today. This is shows that they are probably not being distributed to areas where they are needed.

I think people should pay more attention to their health and take more caution when having sex.
