I'm glad too knowing that people out there are feelling the same way I do!
Nothing bothering me than innocent people kill everyday in the middle East. I think it is right we TIG guys do something about this situation pls.
How can we help stop this fight still bewildered me and of course we want everlasting solution for this.
How do we convey our peaceful massage across the middle East that nothing will be achieve through violence and people living in peace is the greatest. I'm really worried about the situation and I would to us to find solution/ assisting hands to this problem.

its a fact that every human being does not want his fellow to be killed without a just reason. the same is the feeling for the people, rather innocent people on the roads of gaza.
the question u put is what can we do? i did a job, u can judge whether it is good or not! i talked to many of my fellows and contact (usually muslims, some of them arabs) and told them to build a pressure on the public level, and try to increase it on both the sides, al fatah, and hammas to stop the war. becoz it damages the reputation of both of the parties as freedom fighters or muslim parties. muslim cant kill another without a justified reason.
so in my opinion, a public pressure in the shape of some strikes and demonstrations will make hammas realize thier responsibility, but if they think al fatah is responsible, they will share their idea with the people, and demonstration will focus on fatah to ensure stability in the region.

Is strife as intrinsic and abundant in this region as the sands? It may be possible that war and disharmony here are inexplicable and inexorable. I would hope not, but this may be the case. Can someone offer me evidence that these wars are merely finite?

Can anyone honestly say that sectarian violence in the Middle East is finite? Is there a concievable end?

Similar kind of violence, but in a different context, happened in Peru. Sendero Luminoso and MRTA were subsequently crashed by the iron-hand of the Peruvian president.
Sectarian violence happened before and will happen in future. There is a cure. But it must underlie the political will of factions who have a vested interest to bring peace to the region.
Middle East has been beset with violence since more than 60 years. Unfortunately, Israel and the PA have failed to come to a compromise, which would lead to the peace in the region.

I may be mistaken but there has been violence in the Middle East for far more than 60 years, the only aspect that is similar to your reference of Peru is that there was fighting. For several millenia, violence and dissension in the Middle East have been present.

I am a hopeless believer in the true goodness of people and I was raised up to believe that maybe one person can't change the entire world, but can make a difference. However, the real world had taught me that this is very, and extremely hard to achieve!!! But it still can be done. But what bothers me the most, is that even though there are a lot of people in Palestine and Israel, as well as all over the world willing to work in solving the conflict, there will always be that fanatic group of people on both sides willing to mess it all up. How do you work with that? Is there a way to work around it?
I am a firm believer in peace education and the sort of response it has gotten over the years, as well as reconciliation. However, people need to accept the fact that solving any conflict, of any kind isn't a thing that will happen overnight...in the case of the Israeli-Palestine conflict it just might take a few more generations than we thought.
