[Poll] will it hurt you to recycle

As human beings it is natural for us to pollute, because we are not perfect!!!! However the amount of garbage that we dispose of is unbelievable. Most of the garbage that we through out is recycable, but people are to lazy to seperating newspapers, cans, and bottles you will not lose anything.
Where does this garbage go after we put it outside on garbage day????? Well, it's taken to a dump, where it is just stacked their. Everyone knows that all garbage can't be recycled, but if we recycle the materails that can their will be less garbage.
When will people realize that we are going to run out of room. Oh ya, when we do. That isn't the only problem that we are going to face if we dont recycle. We are cutting down more and more trees. By just dumping the garbage we also create higher chances of creating dieseases.
What can we do???? Its our future isn't it???? So how can we work towards improving our conditions???
Take a stand, recycle and help save the future a step at time.
Please post comments on how you think we can get people to recycle.

Recycling is so easy and it makes superb compost for growing veggies and plants in your garden!

i'm afraid that Canada is way ahead of the U.S.when it comes to the environment. when i was visiting my cousins in Ontario, they had these little green bins for recycling that were picked up allong with the garbage. what a great idea. in my town, we don't even have recycling bins anymore because people started dropping off garbage like matresses too. i don't know who decided to get rid of them, but i have no where to take recycling now. hopefully i can find another place near by.
as for all the garbage, why do we create some jobs for people to sort out the recycleables? i know it doesn't sound like the greatest job, but with high wages it could work.

recylcing is very impotrant, and more people should take more of a concern in helping our environment.

I have to admit that I don't recycle as much as I could. It doesn't take that much extra time and you would be helping out the environment rather than polluting. I think that the reason people don't recycle is because they don't realize the consequences. Once they see how much not recycling hurts the environment, they would probably start to but by then it would be too late. I'm not saying that people should recycle every possible thing that they can, but people like me who rarely recycle should begin now. If everyone recycled just a little bit more, it would add up and make a huge impact.

I do agree that recycling is important. But I find myself not very good in recycling myself. I don't know where I can recycle my glass, plastic, aluminum, and paper. Our garbage man refuses to take them. I wish there was an easier way to recycle, then I might be able to do it more.

As other people have said, recycling is nothing hard. All you have to do is just make sure that you put all plastics and papers into the recycling bin. If you want to get even more involved, try starting clubs at school for recycling and post papers wherever you live and try to spread the word of recycling.
