women are definately equal to men actuallly make be even more than men
with out the oustanding effort the black slaves would have never been free. It was a woman named Harriet Tudman that brought slaves frome america to canada by the underground rail road
- if it worent for harriet tudman all the African Amercian would have been slaves for alonger period of time

I totally agree with you, I mean sure men might have many things women don't but women have many things men do'nt. Men now a days think that women can't handle the things that they men do. This is not fair women should have rights that are equal to men and both gender should be treated equally, because women are important in this world and there were many famous women like you said Harriet Tubman, Princess Diana, Indhira Ghandi, Mother Teresa and so much more

I agree aswell,women are very important to the world because they reproduce,keeping the population going.Without women there would not be any men either.
Women are just as capable as men,so they should be treated as equals.There are many famous women.Such as Golda Miar who was famous in Isreal or Mother Teresa who founded the mission of charity in calcutta,India.

I agree that women are as equal as men also. But they are not at all treated equal. For ex- in the developing countries they're just merely house wives, in some places they're not even allowed to get edcation! As someone else mentioned earlier that we have created this situation but that is not often true! Usually men are more competetive with women allowing this situation to take place; after all who says men are the only ones with the strength? Women are just as good. This issue is just as serious as any other global issue because every day know it or not there is some kind of DISCRIMINATION going on about gender issues; could be at work, sports, etc. Gender issues should be taken care of big time after all this world is made out of both men & women!

I greatly agree that women can and are justs as equal as men can be, as said it's the barriers a women sets for themselves. In many ways, people cannot believe in this statement, because its known worldwide that men are better, but i completely disagree with this false statement, people should be treated equaly and fairly. It effects us entirely, because its also known that men tend to accomplish more because they are given more oppurtunities then women do, all because there men. This has been happening for quite some time but in my perspective I think its also the way people are raised to be, because in general when a child is born most parents tend to give the specific child boundaries to raise them in, so in a way, parentally this is causing this gender issue to grow.

On the subject of gender equality, women are more capable in some aspects of life than men are. Women are stronger both mentally and physically. If you think about it, can you honestly say that a man could handle giving birth to a child. I THINK NOT! A woman's worth is greater than a man's worth. It is up to females to produce and give birth to the future. If you don't believe me, than why do you think that a woman's life expectancy is higher than a mans life expectancy?

It is not that women are not as capable as men, it is the barriers that women have set for themselves, I agree that women and men are equil, but with the way life is today, it is hard to see.

I also agree.Men would never want children if they had to give birth to it.But women can handel things that men do like hokey,soccer,basketball,construction or football.I also heard a joke about it,it goes like this:men are always whining on how much we suffacate them,personaly I think if you can hear them your not holding the pillow hard enough.
Men are sometimes helpfull but they cry to much even if you ask them to just lift a finger. Everyday they expect women to take care of everything at home and when they come home take care of them like a baby.I think women should let men do some things alone instead of holding thier hand.

Ha Ha. Very funny. To tell you JasonM202, so people are just lucky, right. Anyway women are very powerful. The thing is that in the world today, some people don't see that. I am a girl. So my parents are very careful with me. Like I can't go to places alone, they are just scared that I'm not strong to protect myself. Like come on. I am not say that girls are better then boys, or anything like that.
It is just that girls are not what the world think they are. Trust me, girls got the power!

true my parents wont let me go out alone either. They wont even stay in the car alone for like 15 min
Here a question to think of ? Why are parents so protective of their daughters and why did this feeling happen in the first place?
