I have just receive a mail from a friend call sam (adronai family)....on the above caption on darfur;a very pathetic and sad story on human right abuse to humanity and indeed to women and children.
"They took the babies from their mothers'arms. You can help end it.Since 2003, sudanese president Omar al bashir's militias have massacred entire villages of his own citizen- just because of ethnicity 400000, innocent men, women and children have been killed, untold thousands rape, tortured and terrorised. Another 2.5millon have been driven from their homes, I just want u to try and study some issues about the onslaught going on in darfur, sudan. and somalia" .
We must collectively work and fight this menance, please lets join our hands in this direction** www.GlobeForDarfur.org

On December 10 - Human Rights Day - people around the world joined together to denounce the use of rape and sexual violence as a weapon of war in Darfur and to show solidarity with the women and girls of Darfur.
On September 17, 2006 tens of thousands of people took part in the Global Day for Darfur to show world-wide support for the Darfuri people and to put pressure on our Governments to protect civilians. Nearly 60 events took place in 41 countries. The response was magnificent.
But the atrocities and suffering in Darfur continue, including a growing number of rapes and sexual assaults on women and girls. Collecting firewood has become a question of life and death for Darfurians. If men go to find firewood and are caught they are killed; if women are caught they are raped.
We hope that you will join with us to demand that world leaders:
Work with the African Union and its member states to ensure that protecting women from rape is a priority for AMIS.
Ensure that AMIS has the financial support, material resources, and expert operational advisors it needs to implement its mandate to protect civilians.
Push for effective peacekeeping through the rapid deployment of UN peacekeepers with the expertise and the capacity to protect women from violence, including through monitoring and investigating allegations of abuse.
Push for the disarming of the Janjawid militia who have been responsible for a large number of the attacks in Darfur and Eastern Chad.
Ensure that the Government of Sudan allows humanitarian organisations to have free and unfettered access to help victims of rape and other forms of sexual violence throughout Darfur.
Ensure that the Government of Sudan hold perpetrators of rape and sexual assault accountable for their crimes

I'm believing that next year the UN & AU has to see the resolving of the matter as of necessity and there should be no compromising of any sort again.

I called out for TIG members in DAFUR for the fact that they are eye witnesses and they could keep us informed, and if anythings needs to be done, definately not from people who are far off, we could talk till "HIS KINGDOM COMES" and make no visible changes, although we can make a call out for intervention to neccessary quarters.

Actions to take on DAFUR Crises [edit] [delete]
ACT: In December , 2006 the African Union forces, which have been offering some protection to Darfur over the past year, will be forced by government of Sudan to pull out.
FACT: If the U.N. and N.A.T.O. do not immediately provide peacekeeping forces, by January, 2007 over 500,000 Darfuris will be killed. Over 400,000 have been murdered in the past 3 years.
FACT: No Government, including the U.N., has EVER acted to stop a genocide until its citizens made them. This means that we all have to:
MAKE SOME NOISE!
For as long as it takes...
URGENT...
Please do as much of the following as many times a day as possible in the next few months....
our actions can make the difference between life and death for millions of Darfuris.
E-mail President Bush and ask him to lead the effort to create a NATO force for Darfur NOW at http://oneamericacommittee.com/action/sign-petitions/email/darfur_act
TEXT Message President Bush to help Darfur by dialing 56658 and texting in 'Darfur'. Do this as many times a day in the next 2 weeks as you can.
CALL the WHITE HOUSE: 202-456-1111: You will be talking to the "comment" operators.....please ask them to tell President Bush to send N.A.T.O. forces to Darfur immediately. Be polite.

A friend Distinguish Senator JOHN EDWARD of the USA Senate said
"The conflict in Darfur broke out in 2003 when small farmers took up arms to fight for a greater share of resources. The Sudanese government backed a militia group, known as the Janjaweed, that has brutally raped, tortured and killed 400,000 people and driven 2.5 million people from their homes. Now, the bloodshed is spilling over into Sudan's neighbors, Chad and the Central African Republic.
Darfur, as tragic as it is, presents America with the opportunity to show the world that we are making changes, care about human rights and still have the moral authority to lead. NATO forces -- if the U.S. stepped up to moral leadership -- could end the conflict immediately. America must also lead the way in getting NATO to establish a no-fly zone over the region to cut off supplies to the brutal Janjaweed militias.
The African Union has 7,000 troops on the ground in Darfur to help end the violence and bring peace to the region. They are doing a heroic job, but they cannot succeed without support from the world community".

I think we are getting some facts here, we have reached if I'm not mistaken two points here to go.. one to see if any TIGmember in Darfur and two the urgent need to stop the killing in darfur which is the most important.
What do we do is still be the next fact....

This madness must stop. Killing innocent people in the thousands, eventually millions and when will it stop. IT HAS TO STOP! No one should be killed for being the same or different. How is this situation being allowed to occur? There has to be someone to stop it...the government, police just someone. The brilliant mind of the past, present and future are being killed. It is ridiculous. How could someone kill anyone...especially a child or a baby when they have no idea and no understanding of the situation. The entire situation is wrong!
