if developing countries are implementing adaptation strategies now, how can we reduce the financial cost of climate change down the line?

methods for adaptation now towards climate change are very costly. many countries don't have enough funds for that. and yea, my country's one of them.

well, having not much funds mean that we have little industry which means, fewer smoke belching factories, oil binging engines and such... climate change mitigation is simply taking steps backwards to more simple lifestyles thus stopping more problems from coming about and try to counter existing problems with technology or with trees... they're a mile away from the 'simpler lifestyle', we on the other hand are just a few steps away... and we have some green left in the country... all we really need to do is start stepping back... the problems existing? well, planting trees cost a little over 10 pesos really...

I think that making a full support on agriculture is a big step in preventing climate change. Through this, we can maximize the local budget plus the benefits of having a carbon sequester in the environment.
