Yes there is so much pollution in the air! It is caused by cars, smokestacks, etc. We the people can lessen the pollution by carpooling or better yet walking to the destination. That could really lessen the pollution in the air. And there should be less smokestacks because that causes a lot of the air pollution we have.

Well, since Cnada had ratified the Kyoto Protocol, i guess we would have to impletement it into our cities and industries in order to achieve the goal set out but the Protocol. This meas many of our industies have to sut on on their greenhouse gase emmision. It's gonna cost a lot of money finacially, but i hope it will make a difference. Although i doubt it.

I agree and I have realized that the air is getting more polluted these days. The air around us is getting more and more polluted. The moment you step out of the house and are on the road you can actually see the air getting polluted. Cars, or bus, and smoke from the factory causes the air to be polluted. One of the thing we can do is to conserve energy. Walk or ride a bicycle to the market or to your friend’s house. Take a bus to school or organize a carpool. Another effect of air pollution is acid rain.

spend money on making environmentally-friendly cars

since we cant live without cars, or at least most of Canadians, we should spend our money on making hydro cars, etc. This is because we cant change the fact that we rely on cars, or we can take more buses instead of driving, but that doesnt clear the problem too, coz buses do pollute. well, there are hybrids out there but they cant go that fast, because people still dont trust those cars as of yet, but there are more and more ppl buying those cars, they dont pollute that much as normal fossil fuel cars, but i think we can spend some time and money to try to research on energy efficient cars and non-polluting vehicles, because cars are really useful and is part of a Canadian's life for so long!
