Hey guys, I found out about this new collaborative project which aims to come up with solutions and workarounds to the current problems our world faces nowadays such as global warming, climate change, pollution and the like.

Although the project is still in its infancy, I find it unique because it presents problems on a tree like manner wherein users can ask a main problem question and then that main problem can be broken down into several sub issues and then eventually come up with little solutions that could contribute to the whole thing.

Why not try to check erissolver (dot) com and lets all have a brainstorming with today's pressing issues. No single solution can solve a big problem, but if we try to break it down into smaller pieces then we just might be able to improve and eventually resolve the main issue step by step, little by little by our combined efforts, ideas and suggestions.

Remember, the more minds are better than one.

I think it's called world socialism.

There's definitely too much pollution. What is especially serious today is that globalization adds to the spread of pollution. I live in Taiwan, located at the Southeastern of China. Though geographically Taiwan and China are separated by the Taiwan Strait, the serious problems of sandstorm and particulate matter(PM 2.5) are also affecting Taiwan. The air pollution problem in Taiwan is especially serious during winter and spring, when the Northeast Monsoon blows all the way from Mongolia to East Asia and then South Asia. Pollutants both from local factories as well as harmful particles brought in from China has made the air pollution problem in Taiwan even more serious. In Taiwan, hundreds or thousands of Taiwanese suffer from respiratory diseases annually because of air pollution.

To soothe the air pollution problem, global collaboration is definitely required. Only when global citizens act out together can the pollution problem be largely solved around the globe. The air pollution alone has been affecting human-being seriously, let alone many other pollution problems! When we think about the core problem of pollution, the generator of many harmful acts actually comes from consumers' desire for cheaper products, companies' pursuit for easier methods of waste dealing and the selfish minds that seek only the benefits for his or her generation. It is now time for us to re-think about many notions that were once been perceived as "okay" but are actually doing much harm to the environment as a whole; apart from that, as a global citizen, it is now for us to take action! Start from our own communities; the accumulation of all efforts can certainly make a change!

My name is Rio. I live in London. One thing that makes me proud of this city is living in a nice area and having friendly neighbors. One hobby I enjoy is playing football because it is really fun. The global GPJ city I'm exited to learn is Manila in Philippines because I've never been there before and I want to learn about it as my parents are originally from there.

In VietNam, I think people don't recognize the harm of pollution; like Ho Chi Minh City, tourists must walk on pavement with rubbish everywhere. Punishment must be high and made seriosly to settle this problem.

Oh, I love this idea! It's brilliant. And I believe that every person can find time to walk at least 30 mins to some places...rather than browsing internet for this amount of time smile.

Walking is like a meditation - we have time to think...to shape our ideas/prepare for meetings mentally and even get rest from stress by simply focusing on our surroundings. I believe it's only beneficial for people.

In the past, people walked even 20 km a day to get to the market place to sell their products.
