For some reason everyone thinks that it was a good thing that Canada did not decide to join US in attacking Saddam. I think that it wwas actually a bad thing. We have only broken our alliance with our mother country Britain and we have broken it with the US also (which is the country we do most trading with. This will cause a financial and economical disaster adn the US maybe less friendly toward us. They have already sed that canada may not cross the border now without a visa. If this continues then we might just lose our closest friends. I think that the main reason fro Canada to not enter war is because Canada does not have a very good military. Unlike the US we do not spend as much money on weapons, troops, and other things that a miltary needs. I have researched and i have found out that Canada has already sent there troops (the littl amount they DO have) to afganistan! They really don't have anything to fight with. I think that Canada is just using the excuse of how the UN do not agree as an excuse to cover up the fact that they are not well suited for military action on Iraq. WAT DO U PEOPLE THING SHOULD CANADA HAVE AGREED OR SHOULD THEY HAVE DONE WAT THEY DID?

yo roshan!! i totally agree with these ppl... i mean who cares bout economy....if the people's life is at stake... canada made a perfectly good decision cuz no one wants to help kill some innocent ppl if they havent dun anythin to us.... the economy could just go to waste....

WOAH WOAH WOAH HOLD UP FOR A SECOND! You guys think that just because we send our army there means that we are all gonna get bombed? Newsflash everybody the last time we joined up and bombed Iraq they couldn' do nutin! They did not launch there so called "DESTROYER MISSILES!" No one here got even scratched by them! U think that just because now he declares that he has chemical misiles means that he is gonna use it on us? And one more thing! Even if he did use that weapon and we were not in the war he would attack the USA and the chemicals would reach us newayz! So i dunno WAT u guys are takin about? And hoo says economy doesn' matter. Yo listen up! without economy alot of things are gonna be expensive! There will be more people on the streets. they would starve to death! people will be jobless! we would probably live like those awful people in afganistan are living! I don't think that i would prefer being starved to death or having an atrocious life like that over having a chance to beat the Iraq and stop them from putting the world in danger!

DID I SAY THAT THE REASON WE SHOULD ATTACK THEM IS BECAUSE THEY DIDN HURT US? we should attack because the iraqis are beeing dumb by not disabling the weapons and Studs please don say that he was gonna disarm them because he wasn! If the iraqis don wanna disarm there weapons then why should we not force them? It kood help the world! All i sed was that we should not be afraid of them because they can't reely hurt us! I am sayin that we should stop them and not be afraid of his meeningless threats! By saying he i mean SADDAM!

Wait wait wait, Cheets is right, who gives for economy and that, human lives are at stake here, for Americans, Britains, and INNOCENT Iraqi citizens, and we are not their SLAVES, we should not be judged because we make a descision, why should we follow their footsteps all the time? All countries has it's agreements, and disagreements. And besides, Canada isn't that powerful anyways, America and Britain are about 10x stronger than us, we may not have been able to do much anyways. I agree with Canada NOT joining the war, we have our ways, we don't want war then WE DON'T WANT WAR.

Wait, Roshan, you're not saying that Iraq, the Iraq that is getting bombarded, tanks firing at it, American and British troops heading in Baghdad, and the burning down of their buildings is going to attack us Canadians?? Now why would they do that??

Roshan,
What Canada is doing is absolutely correct in my point of view. Canada goin to war with America is just like sacrificing lives. They have families that actually worry about them. While we're in war, innocent lives would gradually be taken away. and is that what you actually like agree on?????
HOWEVER, Roshan, you do ACTUALLY for once have a point. We have just like broke the relationship between Britain and America. With the reliablity on America, if Canada does actually tie on a war between another country, America would mosly likley NOT help us because since we're not on their side on this war, later on the future, why would the Americans and the Britains help us if we didnt help them in the first place?
I strongly agree what Canada is doing is completely correct, however, we might have to start thinking about our future considerations about our relationship with the two countries we have relied on for many things. Under any circumstances, I think that Canada should have some plans and solutions to any future problems that Canada actually comes in contact with!!!

Thnx Fiona but im afraid i must use ur point against u! Since we did not join the war with USA, when our time comes for war we will not get any support from the USA. This will Cause more deaths on our side! So if we join this war we might loose a couple of people but we will also be saving alot of people in the future so we would actually be doing some good to our country by joining!

roshan you think canada should help the u.s. fight but just think, how many canadians will die if we decide to help the u.s. war isnt easy, we will need trained soldiers, guns, bombs, fighter jets, tanks and most of all $. we are going to lose a lot of money if we decide to help. cities will be put in the risk of getting bombed by the enemy. just think about it, do you want to get bombed????? do you??????? i dont think you want to die so if we dont join the war there wont be any danger of us getting attacked.

all i know is that what i think is that canada shouldnt go to war ok. and canada, britain, and americas relationship is broken. but guess wat, those are just facts im posting. they're not my opinion okay. that is just wats happening. but i still agree that canada shouldnt go to war.
