Who said those missles were highly accurate??
March 24, 2003 - 10:32 AM

If those missles the US are firing are a 100% accurate and the americans knew what they were doing, then Saddam should have been killed! But he isn't!He is still alive and well and still living in Iraq! This happens every time they have a war. Bin Laden was never killed and Saddam will never be killed either!

why does everything have to lead to killing a specific person?! i mean cant the two countries work things out by talking and making a compromise?! but yah like u said, the missiles are not accurate and instead of their target being executed, its the innocents people being killed! why do there have to be wars anyways. Bush and Saddam arent THAT young. cant they be more civilized and end a misunderstanding in a more mature and safe way? instead of just firing wutever they can find and killing all the innocent folks! even teens are more matured than them! at least we noe how to compromise until sumthing changes for the better. for the two presidents, they are setting a really bad example for younger kids because if just one thing will tick Bush off then sumthing like when sumone steals a kid's candy will start this huge fight between the kids! this war not only affects the economy of two countries but people of all ages!

Smart warfare? big of an oxymoron as smart Bush. there are always going to be civilian casualties. it is effective way to ruin morale in the enemy. plus it is great target practice, and i am not kidding. enemy civilians are used for training targets and guinea pigs for new weapons. so in a way, it is smart warfare for the inhumane generals who do nothing at the state of the union address until the issue of war is brought up.

In an attempt to dismiss a few of the crazy things being repeated on network television, id like to offer the following oxymoron up for public debate;

"Smart Warfare"

Can there really be such a thing? Does it honestly matter if targets are evaluated on how many civilians they kill when they are targeted against a country whose army is made up of conscripts?

I question whether it would matter if volunteering forces were taken out after evaluating the target for possible civilian casualties.

One life is still a life, isnt it?

grrr.

I doubt it's 100% accurate, but Saddam MAY have been injured... I mean there are 5 mil in Baghdad, how are we supposed to know who Saddam is? And of course Laden isn't dead, we don't have presicion heat tracking guided missiles to fly INSIDE the mountains, turn about 50 times, and somehow a miracle happens by the missle killing him.

Thanks, Cheryl, for making this point - I think youth should rule the world, we're much less resigned to war as an inevitable consequence of politics smile

Yeah, Pred, you also make a good point - if these armed forces are conscripts then we're also technically killing civilians who have no choice but to be in the army... "Smart warfare" indeed!

U no sumtin stud u ain that bad after all. I actually agree wit u. I mean they call it "Smart warfare" and they say that it can be targeted to go through a specific window! If it can do all this stuff then y did they not get saddam yet? U know y? it cuss saddam is smarter than bush! This guy is jus destroyin innocent people. if he want to kill saddam i suggest him to find a way to kill him without killin other people or he should jus not start war and if Saddam does anything studpid then i say that he has all rights to call all those people that called him stupid, stupid!

Americans are self-centered people

I think if those bombs the americans droped were hudred percent accurate, y would it end up killing 30 iraq innocents and injuring 200 people. This parade of bombs also ended up destroying the peace palace, one of iraqs landmarks

I think Americans are taking there anger out on the innocent people of Iraq because they couldn't find Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, this is probably and act showing that americans are failures

I don't think that you can argue that the US is taking out their anger on Iraq because they haven't caught bin Laden or Saddam Hussein. The US plans their actions in a much more analytical fashion, and I'm sure that they have their own best interests at heart when they make decisions. Unfortunately these decisions don't seem to me to ensure peace in the long run, which leads me to question if there's more to this war than meets the eye...
