Hmmm. May people believe that god exist so they worship in temple, masque, church and so on. Some doesn't believe. Those who trust on god, you don't need to submit them proof, and others, who don't believe your proof doesn't work. For me, god is everywhere, I believe on god, but don't believe on your proof.

Hatamkhalid, you are making the classic mistake of seeing what you want to see. I have debated many theists, yet none of them ever seem to understand the law of large numbers.
If we accept that everything happens for a reason and that there is no such thing as coincidence, one might easily conclude that the Virgin Mary was real:
Grilled Cheese
Or that Mickey Mouse was attempting to make his existence known:

You are trying to compare These strange facts with the real and clear facts of the name of Allah. i think you are out of your mind.
These strange facts are always seen around the world. and most of them are human made . which are recorded in the genies book of world records.
I do agree with you all the GOD exists everywhere, but we just say this and dont think of him.
And if you are a human and you do believe in GOD then why dont you pray.
In islam as we pray five times. this is the best way of getting spiritually clear of sins and dirt.
There are people who believes in GOD and does nothing to make himself feel that GOD is always with him.
We should be thankfull to GOD almighty he made us able to see and listen and talk and think. but who cares. just say GOD exists and do nothings its enough.

this thread is in reply to another thread saying Does God exists?
i said yes, and these are facts. the point i want to make is that even if God could not be located physically, he is there. we must feel him in a way or other.
i said many times allah says, feel me through my creation, i thougt i will be good to bring some of his miracles to u freinds.
if one says, everything is born by chance, i would say: why everything is born by chance before our creation, and now nothing could be created in that way?
they have no proove for thier claim of chance? why they could not create any thing now? for everthing they need a means, scientists dont accept anything unless they see, touch or feel it, but in God some of them say, it is chance.
it simply means some of us dont care about GOD? isnt it.

I'm glad that you didn't just call me crazy like payab. That was a little mean.
Your English is hard to interpret, but I think you have found a basic truth. No one really knows how the universe came into being. Some, like me, favor the big bang. You and most of the others favor God. If you ignore other evidence for a minute, it is clear that both you and I have the same logical flaw in our reasoning: what created the thing that created the universe?
Its ridiculous to think that the singularity that exploded into the universe somehow appeared from nothing. However, I have never heard an explanation about how God could just appear by chance. And why have gods and singularities stopped appearing out of nothing in modern times?
Do you concede that neither of us understands how something can come from nothing?

about my english, yes some problem, seems to be coz of law books for which one needs to study interpetation law as well. just joke.
friend: religion is a fact in which sometimes reason becomes powerless. it stops but to respect ur religion u have to accept certain thing told to u by ur prophet, or ur God (in my case Allah). i really dont know how God came into being? from where? but quran and prophet mohammad told me,not to indulge in these things, just concentrate on the miracles God gifted to me (mohammad) and decide out of them whether there is a god and whether iam a prophet or not? in one of the miracles of prophet he split the moon with permission and order of allah. so religion sometimes demand some 'giving up', and a follower need not to argue.
thats why in our purposes of religion we have five things: protection of religion, protection of life, protecton of property, protection of reason and mind, protection of off spring or gerneration.
so in this preference we are given freedom of thought, but not to endanger our religion.
hope this time u got my point.

Oh wow, I haven't had a laugh this great in a long while.
My favorites from the "Hundreds of Proofs of God's existance" are #64, #73, #77, #87, #88, and #96... They're all nonsense, really, but they are truthfully some of the reasons people have usedd to verbally prove gods existance.
I laugh everytime someone uses them though. Seriously, "The apostles would not have died for something they knew wasn't true. Atheist gives examples of martyrs outside Christendom. Obviously those examples were fooled by Satan. Therefore, God exists." Is one of the stupidest reasons I've heard as "proof" for a god.
Are people just giving up entirely now?

The funniest part is that I dont believe God 'created ' anything ....
I believe Humans created God because we felt the need to create a divine power !
There can be lots of reasons ! for example the pagans worshipped nature because their life depended on nature's blessings( the right amount of rainfall for a good crop etc )
maybe after witnessing a lot of conflicts and destruction Man created God (the all knowing divine power ) to assure himself that everything will be alright at the end.
Maybe he needed someone to comfort him... share his pain . maybe he needed hope to survive in the blistering hot desert/ or any other tough situation ...... and maybe that hope came to him when he imagined GOD ( after his own image ) who came in his dream to assure him that he will live thorugh it all !
as for evolution of Human species and life on Earth , I turn to science and new discoveries !
But for emotional well being , I imagine a God , who is always there to help no matter what !
Everyone is entitled to their own belief and it is interesting to see a heathy exchange of ideas happening here.

William, Hatam,
Since the end of 17th century technological advance and the beginning of the Industrial Revolution discredited many claims in Christianity hitherto dietified. The advent of of so-called natural history as science helped a lot in "explaining" tings that have been considered as God's domain and thus not exposable to rational explanation. Geology, paleanthology were born then.
Geology, biology and paleanthology were the milestones of the creation of a notion, which became known as a Rational Chistianity. Unfortunately Wikipedia doesn't have an entry about it. But you can perhaps check here for some preliminary info.
Anyhow, the idea behind this Rational Christianity at the time was that everything discovered or explained by science (f.e. gravity, fossils, etc.) was being incorporated into the religous domain (this only happened in Europe at that time) - God was responsible for the gravitation of planets, etc. - so religion and science coexisted.. Problems of Christianity until evn after Darwin's work were never related to scientific discoveries but to rather radical and dogmatic issues of Christianity itself.
This all just to say that there was no problem per se haveing science and religion and apparently a belief in God, to coexist. Even now, at least in Europe, there are booklets and magazines preaching the same Rational Christianity. They are packed with scientific discoveries but are all, cause of their beauty, balance,etc.etc., attributed to God.
