A World History Thread!

Hello everyone! I created this thread to have a place to be able to discuss world history with everybody. I think that the varying ideas and perspectives on history from people from around the world will prove to be very interesting. Although I would prefer to have a full discussion board, a forum, so that there could be different threads describing different events, people, time periods, etc, this will work untill we can get that set up.
