DNA,

It is not only Bush's fault. Bush is an ignorant and a moron who is easy to control, it seems to me.

It is the Bush Administration all together that is guilty here.

I dont know how ignorant Bush is ... he must not be that big a fool ...he might be getting soemthing out of it madBush's Body Count: 655,000 Dead Iraqis. Double that of the Saddam Era

The most disturbing thing is the breakdown of the causes of death. Over half the deaths – 56 per cent – are due to gunshot wounds, but 13 per cent are due to air strikes. No terrorists do air strikes. No Iraqi government forces do air strikes either, because they don't have combat aircraft. Air strikes are carried out by "coalition forces" (i.e., Americans and British) and in Iraq have killed over 75,000 people since the invasion.

Oscar Wilde observed that "to lose one parent... may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness." To lose 75,000 Iraqis to air strikes looks like carelessness, too.

I have seen and heard of the things that are happening into the Iraq. Personally I do believe that they should have not been put over there in the first place. I know since the Twin Towers incedent things have been pretty secure with things but to insult President Bush is sort of degrading to those Americans who are fighting in Araq right now for their peace. Did the United States and Canada not fight in World War One and Two? Are you telling me that our goverment is wrong, I know its not very intelligent to go to war with another country but you have to look at the problems that the countries do sometimes create for themselves. Maybe the USA should not be over their fighting, but its also Canadian Soliders as well over there, so is Canada just as bad as President Bush????

Dear Janiice,

No one can say whether US or Canadian soldiers are bad, or as bad as Bush -- no one can generalize. There are truely both Canadian and US soldiers who indeed have good intentions, treat Iraqis with compassion. There are also horrible ones, racists, or those who are absolutely insensitive to Arab suffering as well as their culture.

However, in general, I have my sympathy with the soldiers (I have seen Soviet soldiers who have fought in Afghanistan and know what they feel), for they are as victims of this horrible war unleashed by the Bush Administration as the people of Iraq.

As for insult on Bush, why not? He deserves it. You can't compare the invasion of Iraq to WWI and WWII. Remember, the US was attacked by Japan -- the US has never in history been attacked by Iraq -- and German-Japanese axis was a threat to world peace while Iraq was not a threat to any country in 2003.

More than that, there is enough evidence to show you that the Bush Administration knew Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction. That is, the Administration lied to Americans and the rest of the world.

Most Americans now know it, and you have the result of it in the elections. Both House and the Senate are taken over by Democrats.

Dear Arslan,

I clearly understand your point of view but how can one man be to blame for the things that are happening in Iraq right now, and who says that the Twin Tower Incidents where not from Iraq? I do beleive that is what started this whole situation in the first place was the terrorists attacks onto the United States. Mr. Bush is not entirely to blame, for one simple reason; it takes more then one man to run the country; it takes many to make the country to go like he would, Mr. Bush is mearly a public speaker for everyone else, he alone is not able to take all the blame for what has happened because those Sergents and those involved in Iraq right now could of protested not to go. I strongly beleive that it is impossiable for one man to mearly be responsable for things that happen in a country that is sometimes out of his own control, its not right to blame Mr. Bush for those problems though he has many others who stood beside his decision and have help influence his desision. Not many know what goes on behind White House Doors and those who do, will not reveal what happends. I hope you see my point of view.

Janiice,

Sure, one can't blame Bush only. The US, after all, is not a dictatorship. There are several people to blame for the criminal invasion of Iraq.

No, Janiice, the whole issue did not start with attacking the US on September 11. The Project for the New American Century, sent a letter to Clinton in 1998 urging him to remove Saddam from Power by using military force. The letter was signed by the following persons: Elliott Abrams, Richard L. Armitage, William J. Bennett, Bergner, John Bolton, Paula Dobriansky, Francis Fukuyama, Robert Kagan, Zalmay Khalilzad, William Kristol, Richard Perle, Peter W. Rodman, Donald Rumsfeld, William Schneider, Jr., Vin Weber, Paul Wolfowitz, R. James Woolsey, Robert B. Zoellick -- basically those people who have been surrounding Bush Jr.

This conservative think tank actually prepared a document in 2000 -- before 9/11 -- pages of which were compared to Hitler's Mein Kampf actually. Page 52 of that document, for instance, about how the unchallenged military hegemony of the United States could be accomplished: "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor."

So, the neocons who have been surrounding Bush were waiting for 9/11 -- not that 9/11 started everything.

Arslan

P.S. Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz proposed the invasion of Iraq one day after 9/11 -- before anyone had a clear idea who was responsible for 9/11.
