Hello Everyone!
I am in my last year of my Bachelor's degree and I am exploring work opportunities for next year and beyond. I have decided that I am interested in working with an organization that focuses on empowering youth with leadership skills and social justice education. More specifically, providing these opportunities to youth who would not generally have access to these areas. Any suggestions that you may have of organizations or projects that match this goal would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I appreciate your idea to work with youths because it is one of my fervent desires. I am a final year student and guess I know exact realities African youths go through and their dreams. We can only gain an access into the world of youths if we succeed to understand the traumars they experience day in day out. I must confess that the realities in Canada and Africa are vividly different.
Nonetheless, one thing stand out cristally clear, the youths of the entire world do have a problem. Some of these problems are alike and some not. If you ask me I would tell you that the most wanted solution they (we) need now is safty and assurance. Most youths don't go out of hand because they have and just want to be stupid. No!!! Little to done about their safty and when a bombastic promise is made by egocentric politicians, it just ends up being a promise like any other one.
Youths need safe homes, food, secure environments, education, jobs and a forum through which they can express their grievances, and not a war shattered society made of wolves in sheep skin. I am a memeber of a number of youth organizations in and out of my country, takingitglobal being one. I hope to be of further assistance in due course.
