US and BRITAIN- what will they gain?

As the world await the 48hrs ultimatum given by the coalition of US and britain to the Iraq , i want to ask this wise question that what wuold they gain in taking military actions against another nation .
If truly they promoting justice , they need to be fair and think about the innocent people of Iraq.
We need to live in peace and harmony .

Since when American or british govs have thought of the innocent people that will suffer from this upcoming bloody war.
just follow the history of the two nations and you will see how their behaviours have been.
America and its allies might get some materialistic gains out of this war eventually such as oil but the losses will be catastrophic. They will start an endless war that will promote hatred not just among nations but also among races and religions. They will begin a war that might cause some hundered thousands or million casualties in Iraq without relizing the consequences that will result from this conflict. i.e:they will bring war to themselves in their own lands by their hands..
let's see and find out whether what i am saying turns up to be real.

To play devil's advocate (in my mind at least), what do the Americans think about this situation? Perhaps it's a question of taking action now or waiting to see if indeed Iraq does have weapons of mass destruction, at which point they might well use them again the US.
I by no means agree with this war. Just wondering what you guys think about my statements above.
