Masculinity and HIV/AIDS

I have been amazed at how men in African communities like the Maasai of Kenya (I am one of them) continue to dominate all spheres of family life including sex and reproduction decisions. Some of these decisions increase women and men vulnerability to sexually transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS. The literate and illiterate alike bulldoze, subjugate and 'suffocate' women knowingly and unknowingly. Does this happen in other communities? Please let me know and how you have manged to address it. Thanks.

Unfortunetely for those who tolerate or must endure problems you informed.
I want to know much more than your question. Do you want to know viewpoint of men at sexuality, living in community, traditional society in other communities ?
Seem to have contradiction in viewpoint of men in your community ?!
On the one hand they continue to live as they have been living On the other hand they receive progressive new outlook but they don't apply them.
Right ?
