hi.
by the way, while diagreing with the permission of homosexuality, i never say they must be discriminated or killed, they are part of the society. they must live.
the impact of allowing homosexuality of a larger base, or legalizing it would just put an end to societies.
in sweden, germany, france, canada, why they pay the tunisians, and morocans for their children, the more the children the more they get. why not french and candadian give birth to own children? family bonds, wif and husband relationship destroyed, wife lives with someone else, husband lives with another man, how will generation grow, or u think pakistanis, morocans, and tunisins will come, work for u and u will pay.
dont u think it is a danger for the future of these countires?
reply
Dude, the child shortages are the result of cheap and accessible birth control. Their promiscuity might produce MORE children if it was just a matter of "degraded" (the right word is "different" values.
I applaud the French and everybody else because this planet is a little crowded right now. The beautiful thing about adoption is that you get to choose when you have a child, and women don't need to go through labor. Besides, who are you to say what they should and shouldn't do? Purebred French genetics will become rarer and rarer. So? There was nothing special about white people to begin with. Humans are humans.

Excuse me, but are you equating terrorism with homosexuality?
What has homosexuality got to do with ill health?
Do you follow every command of your "creator" blindly?
If procreation is your main goal, then why else do you have other pursuits in your life?
Please answer the above questions, Umaru, I would love to continue this conversation with you.

When i posted this debate on this group, i never expected to have this very interesting debate taking place all over the world and whenever i read peoples responce to each others reply, i have so many things to learn.
I feel its necessary for me to give a better picture to why i posted this and what really i intend to gain, i can only do this by giving a personally statement of myself.
My name is Bisi Alimi( you can check for the name in google and this will further give you a better understanding on my person) i live in Nigeria and i am a gay person, not just that i am our and also a gay activist in my country, for those of us that are very informed, you will know that in January of this year, the Nigerian government sent a bill to the country`s nationla assembly, the law maker house of the country to prohibit same sex activites in the country, and this will attract 5year imprisonment for offenders.
I have taken out time to read with passion what everyone has said and i have strong bitterness in my heart, not against us, but against the few that has abused our mind and mentality towards each other as human beings, so many things are happening in our world today, and people will still say the war in iraq is justified, but when you look at how many people are being killed everyday, then you ask yourself, was there are reason to invade iraq? but some people did because they felt they hate what the next person is doing, many gay people are killed in the world today, not because they are evil, but becauase someone just felt its a sin or against the law of nature, then i asked WHERE IS THE LOVE?
whatever your view on this issue, let us be very careful, because people will surely discriminate on anything, it could be your skin color, you race, your tribe, your religion, your creed, or anything, but if we all unite in love and in one faith, i know one thing for sure, we will make the world a better place to live in.
Remember if you live then i live too, cos life is all about LIVE AND LET LIVE.

Dear Bisi Alimi
Thank you for writing and sharing about yourself and the reason for your post. Your post has created the space for others to learn more and share thier thoughts. I am sorry that some of the posts would have been hurful to read. It does take time for people to change their point of view.
But nothing can take away the rights and respect that you and every human being deserves.
Rights exist even when they are infringed.

Homosexuals have the right to co-exist. They should be allowed to choose however they wish to express their love and to whom ever they choose to express their love for. It is not up to the public to decide for the individual. We do not disallow heterosexuality what makes it different than homosexuality other than the fact that religion might not condone it but the law and human rights can not revolve around religion or it would be different from culture to culture and human rights must be universal.

I think too that homosexuals have rights to co-exist. I also think that society never have to decide about the sexual and sentimental life of the persons. Every person have to have the right to live the love with the person who loves, of the same sex or of the other sex isn't very important, because the most important thing is love between persons!

As a 17 year old gay guy what worries me even more than the religious thought processes, that are predictable and, I think, extremely difficult to change (although I would hope not impossible) is the common stereotypical view of gay people in our culture.
I dont know if this is anywhere else, but here in Australia people have started to refer to things that are bad as being "gay". As in, "That test was hard, it was gay." Everybody is doing it now and it is having a profound effect on me, equating homosexuality with negative things.
The government wont recognise gay marriage, saying that it is meant to be a union between man and woman. But this is a narrowminded christian viewpoint. Fine, dont give us marriage, but what about civil partnerships? Something, Anything!
Homosexuality is a natural thing that has occurred for centuries in humans and other animals. to say that we should be victimised for choosing is flat out wrong: I, for one, know that I wa sborn with this, I did not conciously wake up one day and decide I liked males.
Gays and straights, blacks and whites, males and females, old and young should all be able to co exist peacefully. I find it depressing that many evangelical christians are so willing to overlook "Love thy neighbour" and instead turn to "Hate thy homosexuals".
Thats just my view, thanks!

Let us not hide in the dark! Before we can solve any problem or talk about any problem we need to ask/define and find the root of the problem/issue.
What is homosexual? It is having a sexual orientation to persons of the same sex. We can see that it's easy now to talk about it.
Coming from our origin, God created Adam alone and later brought out Eve for him as a companion. If God never wanted us to have sex with creatures of same sexual structure, he'll not have given Eve to Adam.
Lets think of something. If my father was an homosexual will he have given birth to me? It's never posible. I don't think we should promote any immoral act/value.
Looking at the social aspect of things, Lebianism and Gay is not morally accepted in the society. Why do we want to bring into this world sinful acts that will dent our status?
Truelly, it's a shamefull act and should NEVER be encouraged.

It was great reading the post from Sure4, i read it and just couldnt help laughing anyway, cos the issue raised by him are things you will expect from a toddler, sorry if that sounds cheecky.
I was 32 in January and at 32 i know what i want from life, i have done lots of research and i am still doing researches on the same creation story he used.
I will love to ask my fellow country man if he ever believes in Evolution? and if he doesnt, i will love to ask him whose story is the creation story. The story the Bible wants us to believe or the story of the Israelites? Has he as a Nigerian ever bothered to ask if there is a story of creation according to the tradition?
And i was so amused when he talked about what is moral and not. Is corruption by the same leaders who sent the bill to the Nigerian parliament morally upright? or is the pastor or imam that celebrates this bigotry morally upright?
I know that Mohammed represent the average myopic population, most especially young people that have been deceived by the so called theory of moral and immoral act of life by the ever disappointing HOLY THAN THOU religious leaders, and maybe you want to ask this question, With People Like Mohammed what does the future holds for people Like me?

It will be useful for members to read previous posts so that one is aware of the views of others and the assumptions which may already have been challenged. If I summarize the discussions till now, most members seemed to state that homosexuality cannot be a reason to discriminate and not to respect people. We all are equal and have right to live with dignity, with or without homosexuality.

I really buy what *ChibiMelody* has to say about this issue. Well, Homosexuality might tend to have a say in some area in our environment but we're not expecting everyone to think it's the right thing.
Everyone one has their own opinion about this issue and i feel we the youth need to re-address this issue and make it right.

I think they do have a right to co-exist because people who end up as homosexuals have been to relationships. They have been hurt in one way or another or just have not found a suitable match and therefore end up trying other relationship with same sexes. They end up falling in love because they understand each other.Biblically it's wrong because God created Adam and Eve bt,nt Adam and Jacob.I actually find it to be normal and interesting to.

Of course homosexuals have the right to co-exist. They should have had this chance a very long time ago, of course sometimes they don't because of religious views however again that depends on how religious they are. Its like saying you can't have a candy because so and so made it compared to someone else.
