TIG messenger is now irritating

Every time i refresh or browse TIG pages I am getting the TIG messenger with repeated messages.I am
unable to read the new incomming messages.It's irritating.

lol yeah the size of the text box has got to be increased!!! it'd be cool if we could access it from
the front page of TIG, too. =) (projects for a rainy day)

i think you can (d'ja vu..haven't i been over this?)
if you mean what i think, you can access the tig messenger by clicking on the little icon in the top
of the grey box on the main page called desktop. It's a little man with his arms up

Ok I've made some adjustments...
Every time i refresh or browse TIG pages I am getting the TIG messenger with repeated messages.I
am unable to read the new incomming messages.It's irritating.
Essentially senders are just clicking the submit button multiple times. On a 33k connection response
is sometimes slow and a common reaction is to just click repeatedly... of course eventually the
recipient ends up with recurring messages....! We will investigate putting a choke on the submit
button so it can only be clicked once per transmission.
yes and the text doesn't wrap to fit in the little window!
If people use proper spacing in their messages then this will happen rarely. You will only get
messages exceeding window width if they contain no spaces. ie, no breakage points and therefore no
opportunity to wrap.

Or a sunny Sydney Afternoon. Done. Tripled in width and almost doubled in height. It still works
within the constraints of 640x480.

Yes this is the way! Or via profiles etc... Still hidden in the top left corner of the desktop
module... still in beta :P
