Partners for Women on a Culture Train Project

Dear Network,
We are looking for partners for our project "Women on a Culture Train" which is going to be applied the fund of Anna Lindh Foundation in November.
Our project will be leaded by an NGO from Turkey called 'ASAM' (Association for Solidarity with Asylum-Seekers and Migrants ).
The generel theme of the project is : Intercultral Exchanges For Women in Civil Society Organizations.
The Project "Women on a Culture Train" will start in January 2007 and end in
August 2007. The 8-month-project will include a 3 day event in May 2007 in Turkey.
Short information about the project:
The objectives are: increasing participation of women in decision-making at all levels of society, by giving education arising consciousness and informing participants about legal rights.
Target group is young women under 40 years active in national and regional NGOs, trade unions, local and regional authorities working in the EuroMed Region, especially disadvantageous migrant women. The project will have 1 leader(Turkey) and 3 partners. All participants for the event will be from the partners of the project. Partner countries are: Spain,Egypt and Malta.
Priorities and expected results including seminars/workshops in these following fields: project development, financial and knowledge management, public speech, lobbying and developing skills for the dialogue between cultures and promote cooperation.
Action modalities are training seminars and workshops for women active in the NGO sector; NGO&IO visits, photo exhibition; lobbying for the social and political inclusion of migrant and disadvantageous women; diffusion of information through publications to overcome discrimination and violence to women in the Euro-Med region.
