There is also international Day of Peace coming up in September 21, 2006. I am encouraging all members to plan or partake in an activity to recognize this day and promote peace. u can get more information from http://www.worldpeace.org/peaceday.html

Perhaps an art or writing contest with the theme of "War on Apathy" would be a nice way to learn together, learn from each other? It's much more though provoking than the common & expected theme of poverty or human rights violations..
