Volunteers needed in Australia to raise funds for women's development in Nepal!!

Hey all! 
One World Foundation Nepal (OWF) is a grassroots humanitarian organisation working on such projects as girl's education, empowering women, ICT, media, and legal rights.

One of OWF's projects currently in planning is the Women Involvement in Girl's Education Awareness (WIG) project. WIG will provide opportunities for young women and girls to consider the importance of girl's education in Nepal - a traditionally patriarchal society - and take action for the empowerment of women as leaders of their community.
Fundraising for the project will take place in Australia, so if you're living in Oz and keen to help out we are going to be organising heaps of great fundraisers from now until the end of February 2007.
Particularly if you're based in Brisbane, I'd love to hear from you and gain some hands-on assistance! Also, if you're based anywhere else in Australia and would like to help on this project, we could also organise fundraisers in your town or city too.
