Sowing Seeds Teacher Training Workshops

Hi everyone,
I'm new to TIG and I'm really excited that it exists.
The non-profit I work for (www.IIHEd.org) offers training workshops for educators, school administrators, activists, students, and social change advocates to learn new ways to bring important issues into their schools and communities!
The workshops are called Sowing Seeds. Theyare 2-day humane education workshops designed to give participants the basic tools to offer empowering, effective, and transformative humane education programs in a variety of settings and for a range of audiences. Humane education encourages critical and creative thinking and positive, healthy choices while examining the challenges facing our planet, from humane oppression and animal exploitation to materialism and ecological degradation.
We offer them nearly monthly around the country and sometimes in Puerto Rico and Canada. Here is the current schedule:
October 14-15 Toronto, Ontario
November 18-19 New York, New York
December 9-10 San Juan, Puerto Rico
Let me know if you want more information on these events or to see what other educators have said about their experience. Thanks!
