that's enough

I don’t know how to start this discussion; the only thing I can say is « that’s enough », everyday we hear or watch on the news about violence, we see people are killing each other , why they do this, for the sake of Politics, economics or what? What’s the reason behind it? Don’t forget that all of us are human beings. Look around you and ask yourself why this is happening? You can go Google search and look for violence pictures, take the example of Palestine, it’s really awful, you can’t imagine, really it’s too bad, how can people stay like that, doing nothing, how? Everyday, hundreds of innocent children are dying, where is human rights? I don’t see any associations of human rights; they don’t do anything to stop this. Anyway, I wish if we can do something to help those people who are suffering right now, but I’m sure that one day they will get their freedom, God Bless them all.

Many human rights organizations are hard at work! You can try checking out:
Amnesty International
Human Rights Watch
Resource page for human rights
These sites also have links to other human rights groups.

i think the peoblem is (at least in my country-iraq) that so many people believe in violence as a 1st choice to solve their problems.
and children are brought up seeing violence being used successfully to solve problems like teachers who beat students or parents who beat their kids.

I know that there are many human rights organization, but what I'm talking about is urgent solution, they have to take an action, to react quickly. why it's easy to start a war and when it comes to put an end they find it difficult. people are dying everyday and we don't have time to wait for these organizations to do something about it, sorry to say that, but I'm really disapointed, I feel stuck.
anyway, we are hopeful , and I wish if those organizataions take a quick action.

Humans are animals, althought a bit more advanced...thus they obey same animal rules...which includes killing each other for whatever reasons...
Difference is that no animal is powerful enough and has enough means to destroy the whole planet besides humans, and it seems certain humans will not shy away from that possibility for their narrow-minded goals..

One thing I've learned over the years is that everyone wants to be right. Not taking in to consideration that in any situation there has to be give and take. Example If your friend takes something from you without permission Do you nicely ask for it back? YES If this friend refuses to give it back then what? Really simplified yes, but that is pretty much the quandry. I'm a firm believer that we don't own anything we're only borrowing/using it.. Mother earth didn't sell itself, Father time didn't sell itself but mankind is greedy and always wants and wants and wants. To What end...stealing, killing, etc. Can Human Rights change this? If so then How?

It's true that no organization have been able to resolve many of the world's conflicts and violations of human rights. Many of these conflicts however, are deeply ingrained through governmental, political and economic policies, laws and ideologies that have been developed for centuries. These very complex political problems will likely take a great deal of time to properly address, let alone resolve.
Yes, it is frustrating that the only "quick" solutions we have are those to address immediate crisis (e.g. relief workers, doctors etc) that do not solve the underlying problems! However, organizations can make inroads through teaching people about human rights and how to address violations of them.

I think there are many factors that need to be adressed when looking at solutions to war. The number one factor being education. Education is a human right that everyone should have the opportunity to encompass. There is so much ignorance in the world. Many people grow up with one viewpoint of the world and education is an outlet to broadening the perspectives of an individual. Because establishing education around the world, is a slow process, it is not an instant solution to war. However, I believe it will help diminish future wars.
