Teach at Ejura Primary School in Rural Ghana

Hello all,
I'm Jenna, the volunteer coordinator for Ejura Primary School in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Ejura is a rural town with lots of busy mommas, farming fathers, giggling children, wandering goats, and juicy mangoes! It is a great place to get to experience the way of life in rural West Africa.
The school has about 200 kids from kindergarten to junior secondary school (like grade 7) - aged 3 to 19. Each class has a huge variety of learners!
We have some spaces for volunteers for the upcoming semester that goes from mid-September to Christmas/December break. We're especially looking for people with experience teaching and planning lessons and curriculum.
Volunteers pay $350 US for the first month they are there and $100 for subsequent months. This money is used to pay for your food and accomodation as well as a donation to the project, which is usually used for building at the school.
Check us out!
