- Mike Tyson (surely) the boxer, but I personally have suspicions in his Islam, as he changed his name to Malike Abdel Aziz, but he uses his original name !!!
- Philippe Troussier (surely) the famous soccer coach in Africa and the world, and his wife Dominique, he was the coach of Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Japan, Qatar and Morocco.
If you have any new record, please put next to his/her name one of the three words:
1- "admired" Islam.
2- "suspected" to be Muslim.
3- "surely" Muslim.

hope Peace for all
First of all I do not prefere to say converter because they are from previouse religion and continued their way to Allah using mind and heart and they are believers lightened with the last religion light which lead them to the straight path
Really they are better than many borned muslims who are still do not look around themselves and think of the creation and the great creator.
so please help me to give them other name not convertor

اقرأ هذه القصة فيها اشياء عجيبه
المسلمين غافلين عنها
إسلام أكبر داعي للنصرانية في كندا!!!
هذا كان أكبر داعيه للنصرانيه في كندا يعلن اسلامه ويتحول إلى أكبر داعيه للإسلام فى كندا ، كان من المبشرين النشطين جدا في االدعوة إلى النصرانية وأيضا هو من الذين لديهم علم غزير بالكتاب المقدس Bible .
هذا الرجل يحب الرياضيات بشكل كبير ...لذلك يحب المنطق أو التسلسل المنطقي للأمور...
في أحد الأيام أراد أن يقرأ القرآن بقصد أن يجد فيه بعض الأخطاء التي تعزز موقفه عند دعوته للمسلمين للدين النصراني ...
كان يتوقع أن يجد القرآن كتاب قديم مكتوب منذ 14 قرن يتكلم عن الصحراء وما إلى ذلك... لكنه ذهل مما وجده فيه ....بل واكتشف أن هذا الكتاب يحوي على أشياء لا توجد في أي كتاب آخر في هذا العالم .......
كان يتوقع أن يجد بعض الأحداث العصيبة التي مرت على النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم مثل وفاة زوجته خديجة رضي الله عنها أو وفاة بناته وأولاده.... لكنه لم يجد شيئا من ذلك ......
بل الذي جعله في حيرة من أمره انه وجد أن هناك سورة كاملة في القرآن تسمى سورة مريم وفيها تشريف لمريم عليها السلام لا يوجد مثيل له في كتب النصارى ولا في أناجيلهم!!
ولم يجد سورة باسم عائشة أو فاطمة رضي الله عنهن.....
وكذلك وجد أن عيسى عليه السلام ذكر بالاسم 25 مرة في القرآن في حين أن النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يذكر إلا 5 مرات فقط فزادت حيرة الرجل ....

Hey its not fair to say that these reverts are better than born Muslims! 
Anyway here are some famous reverts
El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, more popularly known as Malcolm X - Black-rights activist and religious leader. In 1964, after going to Makkah to perform Hajj, he reverted to orthodox Islam. His new faith reflected his belief in brotherhood between blacks and whites.
Muhammad Ali – formerly Cassius Clay. This three-time heavy weight champion of the world reverted to orthodox Islam in 1965. To this day, the boxer is the most widely recognized sports personality in the world.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar -- formerly Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor. Alcindor reverted from Catholicism to Islam before the 1971-72 season. Following his reversion, he took the name Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Before retiring in 1989, he spent 20 seasons playing for the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers. He is now the six-time Most Valuable Player and one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History.
Hamdan Chris Eubank – British boxer. He reverted to Islam in March 1997, after defeating Camilo Alocon of Columbia at the Dubai Tennis Stadium in a light heavyweight contest. After his reversion he took the name Hamdan.
Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf – formerly Chris Jackson. He reverted to Islam in 1991. Most remember Abdul-Rauf when back in 1996 as a former Denver Nugget guard he refused to stand for the national anthem. His refusal to stand for the national anthem got him suspended by the NBA without pay.
Haiqa Khan – formerly Jemimah Goldsmith, Jewish daughter of billionaire Sir James. At the age of 21, she married famous Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan, reverted to Islam and took a Muslim name.

Queen Noor of Jordan -- formerly Lisa Najeeb Halaby. She is from a prominent Arab-American-Christian family. She reverted to Islam when she married the late King Hussein in June 1978. She changed her name to Noor al-Hussein -- the light of Hussein.
Abdullah Ibn Buhaina (1919-1990), also known as Art Blakey. He is an American drummer and jazz musician. His contribution to jazz from 1954 to 1990 as leader of the Jazz Messengers established the sound Hard Bop.
Mos Def – formerly Dante Smith. He is a recording artist, actor, and activist who converted to Islam in 1993. His 1999 album "Black on Both Sides," opens with “Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim" (In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful). His tract "Umi Says" became the score for Michael Jordan's "Brand Jordan" Nike division 2001 broadcast campaign "Much Respect."
Fareed Kamal – formerly Jonathan Davis. He is more popularly known as Q-tip, th former member of A Tribe Called Quest. He converted to Islam around 1996.
Erik Schrody – lead singer of Everlast, who is of Irish decent, converted from Catholicism to Islam in 1997. The rapper turned rocker’s hit single “What It’s Like,” off his "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues," garnered triple-platinum sales of his album. The lyrics of his album's closing track, "Graves to Dig,” reflect his religion: "One for the prophet/Two for Islam/Three for the khutba from the imam."
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall – formerly William Pickthall. He reverted to Islam in 1917 and published The Meaning of the Glorious Koran; an English language translation of the Qur’an in 1930.

Mohammad Asad (1900-1992) – formerly Leopold Weiss, born in Lwow, Galicia now in Poland, to a Jewish father in 1900. Asad was an Austrian statesman, journalist, and leading Muslim scholar, who reverted to Islam in 1926. Asad was a former foreign correspondent for the Frankfuerter Zeitung, and is best known for his books, “Islam at the Crossroads,” and “Road to Mecca,” and for his English translation of the Qur'an.
Margaret Marcus – a Jewish American essayist, poet, journalist and author of several books. She reverted from Judaism to Islam in 1962 and changed her name to Maryam Jameelah.
Michael Wolfe -- writer and author best known for his documentary on ABC’s Nightline, called An American in Mecca. The documentary, which aired in April 1997, took viewers along with Wolfe on his pilgrimage to Hajj. Wolfe was born of a Christian mother and Jewish father. Since converting to Islam he has written several books on the Islamic faith.
Murad Hofman – formerly Wilfried Hoffman. He was born into a Catholic family in Germany in 1931. The Harvard Law graduate, former German diplomat, and former director of information for NATO, embraced Islam in 1980 and changed his name. He has lectured and written extensively on Islam.

I'm planning to invite some of my friends to be Muslims, and this list will help me to encourage them to be muslims.
I send it to two of them, and they couldn't believe of all that number of believers .
