Old thinking, New Applications

One of the main problems that communisim has is that when it is introduced into a society i causes a major change in life which causes much public outcry. What i think should happen is that a communist system shuld be introduced into third world countries to help raise the standard of living to a baseline from which other forms of leadership can take theses countries farther. I am very open to all thoughts and comments so please express yourself thoroughly (no profanity or racial slurs please)

Are you suggesting in your model that after communism develops a nation to a certain point they can then integrate into the democratic/capitalist economic system in order to be avoid the economic domination we see in developing nations now?

SovietDragon,
in theory i think your proposition would be quite an interesting one.
Though in practice consider that with Communism and its command economy people's mentality changes and creativity and innovation is oppressed. Yes, in principle, to bring everyone on the same level this would be nice, but through oppression and instilling in them the blind execution and fear germs.. I dont think you would like that for any developing country..
Countries such as India and China, which choose for themselves to follow communism still struggle with their populations mentality after all this time passed Communism...
So again, if it were possible to switch off or get rid of all "residues" or "lateral effects" of Communism the moment come, then i guess it would be feasible... And what is also important your interesting proposition forgot to consider the fact that usually you cannot impose an economic system on a country unless you are a despot, dictator or king.. In the case of any of latters, given much of luck the developing country might wind up being something like Dubaj or UAE, but even for that your country might need lot of natural resources so as to increase its bargaining power...
