Double Standards!!

Is anybody following the crisis in Palestine???
I don 't believe how double standards rule our world! Everybody was blaming Palestinians for targeting civilians with bombs, but when the Israelian army targeted a whole family of CIVILIANS on the BEACH, and killed everybody, men, women, and Children, the US government confirmed their action as a self defence action, and the whole world remained silent.
When the Palestinians replied by killing 2 SOLDIERS, and kidnapping the third one. Now, all the governments in the world are calling for the release of the kidnapped soldier, nobody mentioned the palestinian women and children kidnapped and imprisoned by Israelian army.
Just notice the difference, children and women on beach, and soldiers in their watch point.
This is really interesting, nobody uttered a word in favor of the butchered family of civilians, and now the people in Ghaza are facing extermination for a kidnapped soldier. This is pathetic!!!

Dear dromarof,
You are quite right, but you exaggerate a bit. I dont think Palestinian civil death were ignored.. Moreover UN's special rapporteur in Israel condemned it for violation of Article 49 of the Geneva convention...
"The UN Human Rights Council has passed a resolution demanding a halt to Israel's offensive in the Gaza Strip.
Twenty-nine of the council's 47 member states backed the resolution, 11 voted against, five abstained and two members were absent. "

So its all not that hopeless.. All that has to be done is somehow reign in the Hamas military wing, not to escalate the tension and not to give Israel any more excuse to go even further south into the Gaza... On the other hand, Israel has to stop looking for excuses and its soldier to invade the rest of Palestine and to put already miserable situation of people into the worse one...Soldier, hopefully still alive, can eb negotiated during peace talks..

OK, and then what happened?? Check the history of Israel with UN descisions, when did Israel comply?? Meanwhile, the US claims that the violence on the beach was justified!!! Such a government is allowed to possess nuclear weapons, and Iran is not allowed to use nuclear energy. This is black comedy.

Yes, I know.
Even UN SC decision werent exactly "complied" with by Israel.
"Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir commissioned an analysis of UN voting concerning Israel. The results were, from 1967 to 1988 the Security Council passed 88 resolutions directly against Israel. During that span, Israel was "condemned" 49 times. In the General Assembly, 429 anti-Israel resolutions were passed, Israel was "condemned" 321 times."

But then again, what do you expect to happen when you have a best friend called the US?
Notwithstanding to mention that UN Security Council hasnt been too effective in many cases also in other crisis zones in the past.

I wonder why Israel doesn't pay attention to an organization that spends that majority of the time condemning it and once passed a resolution equating Zionism with racism. One of the great mysteries in life.

Brother Omar!
First Muslims themselves are responsible for their poor plight in the world today. The World is a very big place and there are options of migrating to a peaceful land. This I am quoting from Quran only.
Yes, Israeli government is an aggressor because of the selfish motives of a few leaders. But we cannot blame all Jews for this.
US government has no choice but to oblige Israel, for its own survival, although majority of American people are against it. Hollywood movies have a message, American MNCs have a message, dont you follow it? When science books are teaching "Survival of the Fittest"in school curricula, you are asking for justice. Why ask the question of double standards to a tyrant, when the situation demands wise action and patience.
As for Palestine, I suggest people there follow, what our beloved Prophet did when he was persecuted in Mecca - Migrate.Indeed, the World is a huge place.
Brother Omar, I have a lot of respect for you and love for our brethren; and we are supposed to remind each other of the truth and patience ( Chapter: Time of Quran). ALMIGHTY bless us!

I agree that Muslims might be a part of the problem, but excuse me I am not going to leave my home because you say so or any one says so, it's MY home.
And I agree we can't blame all Jews but we can blame the majority of them, those who allowed themselves to live in the ashes of a destroyed Palestinian house, those who allowed those leaders to get to the chair, I don't think they got their by themselves, and those who think they are superior than others just because they are Jews and live in Israel.
And I think you are the one losing track here, tell me what movie did promote the idea that someone is stealing the houses of poor people, and what movie promoted the killing in Palestine, and what movie didn't give the idea that America is superior and powerful, they even managed to make Vietnam a heroic scene of theirs.
And also I think you forgot that our beloved Mohammad got back to Mecca after he left it, and he didn't leave it because he wanted to, he left it because there were people's lives in danger, and please tell me where would they migrate to, and how, do you think any country would allow more than a million people in Palestine and more than 3 million in Afghanistan just to come in and live happily ever after? or even give them the same rights as it's normal citizens?

Shorie!
American movies propagate the same ideas that you mentioned i.e.them to be Powerful. What I said is that they are inspired by the concept of the "Survival of the Fittest". I am not appreciating them. I am saying that Justice cannot be expected from them.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S.) left his home and family at Mecca (under Allah's protection), established an Islamic State in Medina, then returned trumphantly, is n't it? His intention was to stop the persecution of muslims. My suggesting for migration is also for that( to save the lives and dignity of muslim brethren) only.
As for which country will allow 1 million muslims (Palestines), yes, we do indeed, have a problem. But with effort, we can convince neighbouring muslim countries of Syria, Iraq, probably Iran, Saudi Arabia, African Union... we have options open. It depends on the intention, efforts put forward and Allah's mercy.
But remember nobody lives on earth happily everafter; everyone has to taste death and face his or her eternal fate. Allah says in Quran that the home of Hereafter is best for muslims. Hope I am clear.
Muslims with faith and patience, struggle in this World, but Insha Allah, they will be the Victorious! Ameen!
