Here are some rules some of my family and friends like to go by:
-support your local small buisnisses
-avoid corporations if you can especially the ones that are killing your local buisnesses
-NEVER GO TO WAL-MART
-support you local talent
-wear out your clothes
-avoid the wasting of food
-recycle everything possible (clothes included)
-if you are stinkin rich and buy expensive clothes, make shure your not gettin ripped (aka the clothes are not made in countries where people are forced to move into the cities through the development of farmland and get paid nothing for horrible jobs, cough NIKES)
-if you have the resources to build green energy don't hesitate, JUST DO IT (corporations hate it)
-love everyone
and remember its never too late to start, and EVERY, EVERY thing you do will have an effect.
