Apologies for my ignorance, but isnt there any team from sub-Saharan Africa such as Nigeria which one or two wordcups before almost made it to finals?

my favourite is Brazil ...they are the best entertainers in the field ...esp Ronaldinho
I like argentina too ...among the other teams i like individual players but as a team none matches Brazil 
i like the determination of the South Korean and japanese teams !
I am also going to root for the german team but as my friend from Munich said
" if the germans are going to loose the world cup its only because they are trying to be good hosts"

i don't like football ,i don't know why .but i like the passion of many people to football and i like very much their celebrations ,colours and costume ,it's so interesting .

Even though my country isnt playing I am still very excited about the world cup. Im supporting england and italy...
Though i am quite sad that christian veiri couldnt play this world cup

Brazil should guard against complacency. In such a tournament as world cup history doe'n't as there is no team so far that has retained the World Cup.

Actually, Brazil have been champions for a record five times in:
1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002.
