Looking for someone in Africa

Hey everyone!
Im working on a major project that involves me writing an 8000 word story, which I am setting in africa. It is a creative piece that focusses on issues of poverty and contrasts the wealth distribution.
Anyway, I am looking for people who have lived or travelled anywhere in Africa, partcularly the east, that could give me brief descriptions of typical living conditions for villages and descriptions of the scenery, the weather, the typical foods and how they are made... basically any detail that you can think of!

Let me know when you begin.I am suprised that u have never been to Africa?I will give you breathtaking,soul searching,mind boggling,brainstorming,Nerve wrecking African journey through the Rusinga Island the Craddle of mankind and all the way through the worlds second largest Fresh waterlake the Lake Victoria and i will tell you so much that you will want to come to Africa and you will NEVER regret that at least i participated in the project!By the end of this so called the East African journey by Moses and Jemmaw ,Good gracious me people will be asking you to be a tour guide!

I already want to go to Africa! I want to go next year. If I had to choose one country, which would you reccommend?
I have sent you an email, its just got pretty basic questions but feel free to add.
I'm quite excited about this project!

I have experience living in nthe local community and know much about them and their problems. I would tell you more before you travell to Africa.

Hi, i saw your posted project and i am interested. I am an African, born and bred in Nigeria. i am a chemical engineering student (400level) I think the best option is for you to attend the YES henya summit this year in september. you can check the yesweb site. I am billed to go but its not for certain, though i have been given the visa i dont have my transportation money yet. If u decide to come to kenya and i dont make it then you can talk to me online.
