I can recommend the movie SUPER SIZE ME. It was about the obesith which is a current issue.

Back when I had my job at the video store I could have listed a mile long list of movies with a message. But today my memory is failling to recall most of them.
The few I have to offer:
The Perfect Stranger and the sequel Another Perfect Stranger (message: relationship not religion)
The only movie I own
It's a Wonderful Life (message: no man is a failure who has friends)
I do believe movies can carry a message to the audience that can relate and move in our daily life.

7 years in Tibet--not the most interesting plot, but i liked the context.
Four feathers--about war, adaptation, and honor.
Rescue Dawn--Amercian soldiers in an internment camp. about friendship and willpower.
Sicko by Michael Myers about our screwed up American healthcare system
Blood Diamond--About diamond mining in seirra Leone. greed and doing what's right.
corperation--about coruption in, and the evils of corperations.
Osama--about a girl in Afghanistan forced to pose as a boy to support her family. very good. talk about a sad ending.
Into the Wild--about self discovery
Grizzly Man--about wildlife, self discovery, and the human mind.

hehehe i come to the right discusion here...i love to watch movies
and do not forget...sometime cartoon movie full with hundreds messages
I love...
RATATOILE---cartoon movie who told about amazing mouse...
Meet with Robinson--the best words here is "we do need to look back...keep moving forwards"
the Bee--I love the world "i know I'v mistakes and I will repair it"
and of course Kungfu Panda....there are a lot of inspired words here hahahaa
for epic movies....i choose
300---great soundeffects movies even a half part of this movie shoot by indoor (yeah...)
gladiator---i still love this one also..hehhee
for romantic and drama...i choose
walk to remember---I agree with u HEBA (hohoho)
princess diary and other princess movie
Patch Adams---my best ever ever ever (hohoho) of medical movies. very touch!!!
for nation movies...of course i choose:
HOTEL RWANDA---i just watched this movie after i met my rwanda frend in Jakarta...hikss...so powerfull movie
SOMETIMES IN APRIL---here is same in Rwanda also
TAXI---hehehehe--i learn more french here (LOL)
and....a lot of movies
i also collect the movies
so...who knows maybe barter with all of u

PS: For e.sum....Apocalypse was great....the first time I saw this movie...I just thougt it like real thing...hahahaha

One of those that i saw recently was "Traitor" starring Don Cheadle. Beside all the cool effects in "Transformers", you can see how much info the government keeps away from the public. We are not free unless we are informed.
