the Rabbit Proof Fence was a really good movie, it really made you think about Australia's aboriginals and how they were treated. If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommnend that you do

Does anyone write reflections on a movie .?..when you sit for hours after watching an intense movie thinking ...well...I write ...and I'd love to share it with you ...
It's called "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind"...it's a Jim Carrey movie , not a comedy though...it's intense ....makes you think ....anyway ...this is post eternal sunshine of the spotless mind ...enjoy!
If there was an exact path of footsteps to where I am today ...If there were marked stepping stones to where I stand right now ...and if I had a record in my mind of their order and sequence and the events they led to and the way they made me feel ...if the human mind could keep track of that ...somwhere in that deep dark part of our brain ...that till right now ...we dont know that it even exsists ...let alone be used .. ...what if we find that memory hidden somewhere deep down inside ....
and even so ...could we go back ...take steps backward ....to that stepping stone we chose ..that led to changing our path ....that led to those big decisions we took ....and even if we could go back ...would we choose a different stone ...to lead somewhere else ...or would we take the same way ....at least we know it leads somwhere...or would you just stay there ....and pause .....

"Gandhi" is something i advice for everyone, who cares to witness a simple man, only one man, defying the whole British Empire and coming out of it a winner.
The movie is long, 3 h, but it is worth it, it has been in making for 20 years by Attenborough, and whereas much is omitted the most important events in the life of M.K.Gandhi, which led to drastic changes in the history of the country, are all present!
But a small dislaimer if I may. This movie has many characters in it and it is recoomended to have some background on principal historical personages such as Nehru, Patel, and Jinnah who all participate!
This movie is at once entertaining - cause of an uncanny sense of humor of Gandhi - and information containing. One can learn much watching this movie not only of India but of political atmosphere of that time!
Its about leadership, human sacrifice, vision, and devotedness of a man, who by some, in considered the greatest leader of all times.

one of the most amazing movies i have ever seen was crash it was just awesome trust me. Its amazing how they were able to show all that in one movie its hot trust me

Rashomon, by Akira Kurosawa! Its old, but it belongs on this list. Great movie about murder and the limits of human understanding.
Jurassic Park, which carries a message about the danger of frivolous use of advanced biotech behind big-budget special effects.
Soylent Green should be here too. If anything, this one has grown even more relevant with time and increasing population.

Rashomon is truly remarkable !
it deals with multiple perspectives that plays with the concept of 'reality' .
Multiple versions of the same incidence exposes the idea of absolute truth.
definitely worth a watch !

i heard that the world trade center movie isn't that great. friends even said it was bad. (if they were wrong, just holler will y'all?)
anyway, about the constantine movie... in one of the scenes, they used some Filipino words in the script - and whose line was it? the demon.
i loathed that film,
and keanu more.
by the way, the best "nature" film i've ever watched was dreams by akira kurosawa. very artistic.

I recently watched The Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith absolutely amazing it really had a great storyline unbelievable acting and just all around inspring. And yes there actually is one movie that really inspired me to take action. Its called "Requiem for a Dream" and its all about drugs and how they ruin four peoples lives and how it can affect all ages all people really in different ways. After watching that movie I became a member of the PARTY(prevention of alcohol and risk related trauma in youth) student council and now organize drug and alcohol awareness presentations as well as do my own awareness presentations to other youth.
